The topic song is used as the theme song of the drama "Hidarime Tantei/左目探偵EYE" starred by Yamada Ryosuke and sang by 10 members in a cool and stylish way. Hey!Say!7's Lotte commercial song "Kagayaki Days/輝きデイズ" is also included in the album.
Both limited edition and normal edition are released. The former one includes a DVD of video clip of "Hitomi no Screen /瞳のスクリーン" and making.
In the normal version, there is a song "Romeo&Juliet" included which is not in the limited edition and other three Karaoke tracks.
In addition, the drama "Hidarime Tantei/左目探偵EYE" starred by Yamada Ryosuke will start to air from today, Jan.23rd, in Japan!

Son DamBi attended ‘Brilliant Son DamBi with SamSung Anycall Amoled fanmeeting’ on 22nd January in Seoul KoEX when she revealed, “I’m currently working hard on music recording, the new album will come out in around April.”
She added, “We have not decided for sure what the concept of the album will be. We are now thinking very hard so as to show everyone a new image.”
And about the appearance of many girlgroups in the Kpop circle recently, Son DamBi said, “Actually I did many public performance last year-end, I was the only solo singers while it is all girlgroups. Even though I feel a little lonely, I thought I should work harder. That is why I need everyone’s love and support.”

MBC News ran a segment where they revealed the names of some of the donors. During the segment, Jung Yunho’s name popped on the screen with a donation of 5,000,000 won (around $4500 US).

However, thanks to Lehman Brothers, we will get to see a lot more of Jacky Cheung very soon. Six years after his last Cantonese album Life is Like a Dream, the Hong Kong singer will release a brand new album titled Private Corner. As some might recall, Jacky was rumored to have lost over 400 million (NTD) with his Lehman Brothers investments. He began his road to financial rehabilitation by doing 4 movies last year, which include 72 Tenants of Prosperity, Body & Assassins, Hot Summer Days and Crossing Hennessy.
In addition to movies, Jacky Cheung is showing his determination for a full-fledged comeback with the release of a new album. Interestingly, his new album is somewhat of a mystery, as there has been no pre-order event or promotions. Nonetheless, fans are already excited about his comeback and have swarmed online stores with pre-orders in anticipation of its release on this Friday. The album contains 10 songs in total, with 9 in Cantonese and 1 in English. Unfortunately, his record company said there are no plans at this time to release a Mandarin album, fans of Mandopop-Jacky will have to wait a bit longer.

Shizumanu Taiyo, starring Watanabe Ken won the award for Best Film. Matsuyama Kenichi won the Best Actor Award for his portrayal in the romantic film Ultra Miracle Love Story. Following her win at the Yokohama Film Festival, Konishi Manami once again won the Best Actress Award for her role in Nonchan Noriben. The awards ceremony will take place next month on the 8th.
The Best Director Award went to Sono Shion for the film Love Exposure. The stars of the film, Nishijima Takahiro and Mitsushima Hikari both won the Best Newcomer Awards. The group started out when they were invited to do guest performance for The Swell Season when they did their concert performance last January. They later became more active performing for JiSan Rock Festival, Grand Mint Festival etc. Their album released went up to #1 on rock album sales chart, and they were also awarded newcomer award for the 16th Korean Music Arts Awards.
Vocalist Jung JoonIl have guested on various radio shows like MBC FM4U ‘TaeYeon’s ChinChin’, ‘Park KyungRim’s Starry Night’ etc, while guitarist Im HunIl is also performing solo in clubs in HongDae.
Drummer Lee HyunJae has also received ‘lovecall’s for CF appearance for brands like Cold Stone, Nikon, Etude House etc.
Previously in December, they also had their own Christmas concert in just7 months into their debut for 1,700 fans.
Amidst their busy schedule, the group will be releasing their 1st album with 6 songs included. The group will show a different side of them through this album.
And album is set to be released on 20th January.

"Ryusei no Namida" will be used as the theme song of the animated "Mobile Suit Gundam Unicorn," the newest in the "Gundam" franchise. "Mobile Suit Gundam Unicorn" is being released as a set of six OVAs starting in March.

The management company is headed by its infamously fearsome boss, industry veteran Sun De-rong, who has scouted and groomed a whole host of Taiwanese celebrities, including Show Luo, 5566, Cyndi Wang and Matilda Tao. Both Ming Dao and Joe, who have played romantic partners thrice, learnt their ropes under Mr Sun.
Speaking through his agent, Ming Dao said he considered and also struggled for a long time to reach this decision. He added that he will never forget everything Mr Sun has given him.
On the news, his ex-boss responded, “This is the sad fate of an artiste manager. When he’s not famous yet, we have to find opportunities for him. When he is, we need him to give us opportunities.”
Following Joe’s earlier exit from J-Star, there are speculations both cases are related to the lower wages the company’s artistes receive for starring in idol dramas compared to other stars.
Mr Sun only vaguely replied, “There are always 100 reasons for everything.”
By the look of things, it is no wonder Ming Dao has no qualms going solo. His venture into the Chinese market has yielded many positives. The idol drama Happiness is Definitely Strong, which he stars in opposite Catwalk model Annie Chen, broadcasts on 26 Jan as Anhui Satellite TV‘s opening blockbuster of the year.
At the Beijing premiere of his movie Almost Within Reach, the actor-model was praised as “a heartthrob” by the media. He had to lose 6 kg for the film.
His popularity in his homeland did not decline as well. Ming Dao took top spot in a recent poll for Taiwan’s top male idol, although he was not in the country for long periods last year. He dominated a field that included stars like Vic Chou, Ethan Ruan and Jerry Yan, by devouring a whopping 80% of the votes. |
