When Sato heard of his win, he joked, “Since I entered the celeb world, I’ve always wanted to win a “Something of the Year” award, so I’m really happy.” Becky was happy to hear that the prize for the award was a trip to Korea, exclaiming happily, “I’m so interested in Korea right now. I’m going to go buy tons of Korean goodies!”
The pair, who have worked together before, complimented one another, with Becky saying how happy she was to win the award together with “Ryuta-kun.” “He’s got such a powerful and bright smile.”
Sato, too, sung the praises of his co-winner, saying, “Becky is really perfect; she’s someone I look up to.”

This is the first time Stefanie will be singing a theme song for a movie. She explained that her love for the story and her complete faith in collaborating with its lyricists Lee Wei Song and Lee Si Song, and the composer, Yi Jia Yang spurred her to take on this challenge.

It happened during the press conference held in Tokyo for the stage production '眠狂四郎無頼控 / Nemuri Kyoshiro Burai-hikae' in which he plays the lead role for the first time. At the beginning of a video segment introducing the outline of the project, his age was given as 'to turn 37 years old in 2010'. Afterwards during the Q&A session reporters asked if it was the first time GACKT told how old he was. He smiled wryly while replying "A long while ago at a concert, on a whim I said I was born in 1540. Somehow that became my official year of birth. Since then I couldn't find an opportunity to correct it. I wasn't keeping my age a secret or anything."
As the main character Nemuri Kyoshiro of the 'Nemuri Kyoshiro' series GACKT will appear in various media. The stage production written by Koyama Kundo is the first in line of the 'NEMURI×GACKT PROJECT'. After the theater version of 'Nemuri Kyoshiro', the combined character 'NEMURI×GACKT' will be featured in manga, anime, video-games and film.
From summer GACKT has been in the process of losing 10 kilos for his role. "Up until the summer I had been building up my body in order to stay healthy during the tour. But I've put on too much muscle for my role, so I've since shed 5 kilos. I'm trying to lose 5 more kilos to make a body sharp as steel, one that will hurt you if you touch. Kimbum will release his debut single album on Nov 8th,2009 in Osaka Fanmeeting. The 3 hours event will took place in Osaka-NHK Hall from 3.00 pm local time with estimated 1500 fans at the event.
It is also said that the debut single album will come together with Behind The Scenes DVD and pictures of Kimbum.

"She has passed all the procedures and will study at the postmodern music department from next year,” a school official said.
Son, born in 1983, is known to have prepared well to enter the department where Rain and other popular singers have studied.
Korean universities pick new students from the entertainment industry through special selection procedures that acknowledge their talent in the field.
Son debuted with the single “Cry Eye” in 2007. After a training period in the United States, she returned to Korea and released a mini-album in April 2008. She released her hit song “Crazy” in September last year. |

| SHINee’s Onew Gets Swine Flu |

Having only just reported hours earlier that Jonghyun had recovered fully from swine flu, it was reported now that SHINee's leader, Onew has also been hit by it.
The announcement came at around 6pm on 7th November as it was reported that Onew had developed a gentle, mild fever last night. He was sent to the hospital today and tests have shown that he has contracted swine flu.
Onew has been prescribed Tamiflu and is now back home resting.
The other three SHINee members, Key, Minho and Taemin were also tested for precaution, and neither of them have shown any symptoms of the illness fortunately.
So with Onew at home resting, it might look like SHINee will be performing as a 4-member group instead on the 8th November episode of Inkigayo. But it was revealed that Super Junior's leader, Leeteuk will take the place of Onew for tomorrow. |

| JY Park To Return With December Album |

It has been confirmed that the well-known artist will hold a tour named "Bad Party - Heartless, love doesn't exist anymore" right after releasing a new album. Back in November 2007, he had released a new album called Back to stage and toured four major cities in Korea. Just as he did with that album, JY Park is expected to hold a short but intense promotion.
When he finished up his 7th album promotion, he had promised that he would not come back until a Korean name got on the Billboard chart. With the Wonder Girls' recent achievement, he has fulfilled that promise and is now able to return to Korea for a new album. It is not decided yet whether it will be a full album or a mini album, but details will be released in early December.

| Law Suit May Lead To TVXQ Split |

Speaking at a press conference on Monday, SM Entertainment chief Kim Young-min accused the three members -- Xiah , Hero , and Micky -- of having sued against the company out of greed to make more money.
Kim was speaking about the ongoing legal battle between the three members and the company. The three band members claim the contract signed between TVXQ and the management agency is unfair.
Last month, a lower court sided with the three and ruled that parts of the contract should be invalidated, paving the way for them to resume individual music and advertisement careers.
The agency vowed to bring the case to a higher court, saying the three must follow the contract as long as they continue to be part of TVXQ, and should get paid according to the current contract.
The other two members -- U-know and Max -- rendered their support for the management agency's claim, expressing hope that the other three would return quickly.
In their statement, the two stressed that all members have worked under the same contract with SM Entertainment for the past five years.
"We believe that TVXQ would not have been in existence without SM Entertainment, which created the group. We are also not willing to resume our career as TVXQ without our current agency," the statement said.
In a related movement, SM Entertainment chief Kim made it clear that although the court granted freedom to the three members to pursue individual activities, they are allowed to work as TVXQ only under SM.
The company demanded that the three members reply to its request to return to the agency by Nov. 12.
But it is widely viewed that the three are unlikely to continue to work with the management agency due to deep distrust between the two sides |
