July 15, 2009 – JapanFiles celebrates its 5th anniversary this week by announcing a partnership with Japanese music distribution/sales/rights agency BounDEE, Inc.
JapanFiles and BounDEE will work together in the coming months to expand the catalog of independent artists available to Japanese music fans through the JapanFiles.com digital music website.

Kang JiHye is a new singer who recently released her single album ‘Sweet Day’, and has sang a cover of 2NE1’s ‘I Don’t Care’ with her own style and voice. This video is currently one of the most popular video on various video sites with high amount of views to it.

Park Jin Young wrote on his twitter an hour back “Wow just found out Michelle Obama and their two daughters watched da Wonder girls perform tonight! Da girls put on their best show.”
The girls were doing the opening show for Jonas Brothers’ concert on 13th July in Washington Verizon. And it is known that President Obama’s wife Michelle Obama and her 2 daughters had watched the performance together. It has been know that President Obama’s 2 daughters Malia and Sasha are both fans of Jonas Brothers.
Meanwhile, they girls will be releasing an official American album in September-October. And here’s a recent video of them dancing to ‘Nobody’ with singer Jodin Sparks.

They will be holding their Thailand audition from 18th July till 15th August to find their Thai member. Currently there are about 3000 participants who had signed up for the audition
Ahead of their Thailand audition, the current trainee members for Baby V.O.X 3rd generation SoRi, JooYeon, KyeongSeok and TaeEun are in Thailand for their activities there.
They will be performing some of Baby V.O.X hits like ‘Missing You’ and also Destiny’s Child’s ‘Stand Up For Love’ there in Thailand.
The 1st Generation Baby V.O.X has received much love from fans when they had went to Thailand for promotions in 2002. Hence the group will also be focusing on Thailand this time

There has been rumours recently that Dong Bang Shin Ki UKnow YunHo will be acting in a drama and fans are greatly interested in it. Especially with reports that UKnow YunHo is very likely cast for dramas ‘미남이시네요’(You're Beautiful) and ‘절대그이’ on 13th July. But SM has confirmed that there are no plans for him to do dramas as for now.
Rumours that UKnow YunHo will act in dramas have actually surfaced a long time back. Many would want to know how the member of the one of the biggest boybands in Korea acting in a drama would be like.
Meanwhile, Dong Bang Shin Ki member Hero JaeJoong has acted in the drama ‘Heaven’s Postman’ for a his acting debut. It is said that the drama will air the later half of this year.

Koda, who is currently one of the biggest names in pop in Japan, is also known throughout the rest of Asia as a top artist. So she will have her chance to perform for her international fans on October 3-4, at the National Taiwan University.
Koda made her CD debut in 2000 with the song "Take Back," which also got a U.S. release. Starting with that, she has been aiming to becoming an international artist, and has even appeared at events in other countries, including the U.S. and Korea. Surprisingly, though, she has never actually held a concert outside Japan before her upcoming shows in Taiwan. In addition, this will be her first trip to that country.
With roughly 10,000 fans expected to attend the concerts, Koda is said to be preparing a large-scale production, similar to her performances in Japan. Her most recent tour involved about 200 staff members and a budget of about 80 million yen. But Koda stated that she is also looking to make her first Taiwan concerts special in some way. |

Since the end of February, Arihara has been taking a break, reportedly due to a bunion. Since then, however, it has been decided that Arihara would leave °C-ute and "return to being a normal girl."
