Miriam went to Mongkok for an autograph session of her new album "Actually I Have Been Happy" and attracted over hundred fans. Miriam has joined Amusic for 3 years plus and there have always een rumours of her and boss Leon Lai not being on good terms in work. And is rumoured to leave Leon's company to join sister company's East Asia Records, or even starting her own company under the support of big boss Lin Jianyue.
Miriam is being asked about her record contract and she admitted she hasn't decide to renew or not, "There are different stages of work in life. I'll complete my work on hand then consider about where to go. Of course I hope my management and record company are under the same boss. The relation of artiste and manager is like a couple, having opinions and persistence in them. For example like marriage, mine has bloomed, hence the decision relies on how much sincerity and how deep is the relationship. My first consideration will be old company. Lin Jianyue is very supportive of me and takes care of me. Leon Lai has given me many new experience, thoughts and opinions in music these 3 years." Will her relationship will Leon bloom? Miriam didn't answer directly, "Depends on heaven! People used to think I can't get married. So depends on sincerity and opinions."
East Asia Records has Sammi Cheng who's opening 10 concert shows during year end. If Miriam were to go over to East Asia Records, wouldn't she be afraid of fighting with Sammi? "I spent quite a bit of sincerity and effort in building my music foundation. My position has surpassed the record company's limits. Since Capital Artistes Era, I've been an individual, most importantly is to produce my own album. To have heart is the basic requirement!" Not afraid of comparison? "Have been compared for 10 years since I entered this line! If you don't compare us, I'll be more disappointed! Next year is my 15th year in this line. Whatever bad terms and gossips have been rumoured, just recycling subjects. Most importantly is the media can hand in their homework." Miriam has booked 50 tickets to Sammi's concert for friends but she's not sure if she'll have time to go watch. If Sammi invites her as guest, will she agree? "I wish so but depends on the company's arrangement."
During the autograph session, one of the fans was sick and fainted. Security guards helped her into the CD shop and called police for help. Miriam helped to disperse the people in the shop so that the fan can get more fresh air. Was Miriam scared by it? She said, "I had been a nurse, used to seeing situations. Accidents often happen during filming but in an autograph session, it's the first time." She has asked for the fan's contact and will send her regards later on.

| YUI To Write Song Based On "Attack Pledge" |
Added by: dilaChan | Date: 24 October, 2009 (4 weeks ago) | Views: 31,746 | Source: musicjapanplus.jp | Suggested by: ShikabaneHime
On October 7th YUI released her new single 'It's all too much / Never say die' and it became No.1 on the Oricon Singles Ranking. Now YUI announced that she will start working on her next song. The new track will be part of a campaign to encourage high school students who are taking correspondence course programs. Students make oaths stating that they will constantly try to reach new heights for their future. The 'attack pledges' will be sent to YUI, and with those oaths in mind YUI will write a song to show support for those students.
YUI commented about the song, and also cheered on the students. "The song will become a reminder for both you and me to never forget our roots, our initial aggressiveness. Everyone goes through harsh and hard times, and it might seem easier to just give up. But I became what I am now today by facing and fighting those feelings. I sincerely encourage you to do the same. Let's continue our drive forward!"
YUI is planning to finish writing the song by January 2010 (no schedules for the song's release have been announced). The song will then be used in TV commercials for '進研ゼミ高校講座 / Shinken Zemi High School Course' [correspondence course program] from January 2010. From among the students who sent 'attack pledges' 30,000 winners will get to download the truetone version of the song for free. |

| Kusanagi Tsuyoshi Defeats SMAP Members To Win Best Actor Buzzer Beat Scoops Multiple Drama Awards |
Added by: dilaChan | Date: 24 October, 2009 (4 weeks ago) | Views: 31,198 | Source: asianfanatics.net | Suggested by: akicute
With the new season well on its way, it's time to announce the results from last season's dramas.
Fuji TV's Getsu 9 drama 'Buzzer Beat', starring Yamashita Tomohisa and Kitagawa Keiko took in numerous awards, including the Best Drama Award from Nikkan Sports' 13th Summer Drama Grand Prix and The Television Magazine's 62th Drama Academy. After his bout of public indecency earlier in the year, Kusanagi Tsuyoshi seemed to have redeemed himself with 'Ninkyo Helper'. He beat out fellow SMAP member Kimura Takuya and Katori Shingo to win the Best Actor award.
'Buzzer Beat' won four awards from Nikkan Sports' 13th Drama Grand Prix, including Best Drama, Best Actor and Actress Awards for Yamashita and Kitagawa and Best Supporting Actress for Kanjiya Shihori. In second and third place for the Best Drama category were 'Orthros no Inu' starring Nishikido Ryo and 'Ninkyo Helper' starring Kusanagi. All three dramas had artistes from Johnny's Entertainment.
Although Yamashita and Kitagawa were not favoured by the judges for the 62th Drama Academy, their drama 'Buzzer Beat' snatched the Best Drama Award. It garnered another win for Fuji TV in the Getsu 9 drama slot. Their last win for a Getsu 9 was two years ago for the drama 'Galileo'. The cast and crew of 'Buzzer Beat' should also feel proud for winning the Best Screenplay and Best Themesong Awards.
Kusanagi made a surprising comback to beat Yamashita for the Best Actor title. While fellow SMAP members Kimura and Katori both had dramas airing last season ('Mr. Brain' for Kimura and 'Kochikame' for Katori), it seems like their chances at winning were not meant to be this time around. Kimura placed third in the Best Actor category, while 'Mr. Brain' ranked third in the reader's poll for Best Drama, but only reached fifth place when voted by journalists and jury members. 'Kochikame' did not even make it in the top five.
The Best Actress Award went to Matsushima Nanako for 'Kyumei Byoto 24 Ji 4', while the Best Supporting Actor Award went to Sakai Masato for 'Kanryotachi no Natsu'. The most surprising win was for Kuroki Meisa in the Best Supporting Actress category for the drama 'Ninkyo Helper', while Kitagawa was bumped to third place.
