So she won.. Not bad.
Yay Sasshin 4th...really close...Mariko is just 200 votes below xD!!!
wow ah... dami nila ahhh
I'm now even more confused about the make up of AKB48 for there are not 48, but 64... the world is not sensible.
the group grew.
they're a theater group so at the start, there's 16, but then they add more groups to ensure that the girls aren't tired performing everyday so they can switch out between the teams each night, then they added team 4 around 2011 due to akb gotten so popular that the girls are gone doing TV shows, magazines, dramas, go on music show etc. and alot are missing from their stage show.
oh akb have like..60. the 64 are out of the 200+ members from AKB, SKE, NMB, HKT that was all in the election.
oh nv. there is 64 members...well akb hasn't been 48 for like..2-3 yrs. people just don't bother looking up and assume.
見逃したがビデオが観たよ!ヤット優子ちゃんの勝利!嬉しい!i missed it but watched teh vids .. in the and yuku wins! happy

I knew Yuko was gonna win!!! Yaya congrats!!! My smexy yuko
The strongest lineups are under and next, so I hope they get some good B-sides. Akicha fell pretty far, but she'll probably get to center... a bit unfortunate since 14,16,18 and 20 are all a lot better singers, but I guess if center is just about looks... I'm a little bummed a KKS got center over Haachan (too many votes, gahh), but the 3rd set is pretty well stacked with the lesser known good singers (Masuda aside), and I don't know most of the 4th set well enough to say if they'll be good.
If I was to write the songs, I'd go upbeat/flirt, upbeat/cool, any speed/traditional sound/vocal focus, and pop&cute. But... who knows what will actually turn up.
my love got 28, i was yell her name hellow bad when i was watching!!
its good to see they are still popular
fyuuh... fortunately the result is bit different with the quick account... ah Kojiharu get no 7th again... ^_^... good luck...
Mariko's speech was the best of the night.
“Thank you for such a wonderful placing. I think that the elections are really where I can feel everyone’s warmth and blessings like this. I do not hate this election. It isn’t because I have confidence. I have no confidence, and I was truly uneasy until today. I even had sleepless nights. But this day where everyone’s warm encouragements and warm feelings meet - to be able to experience such nervousness today, is also a day where I can really grow personally.
There may be people who say that I should give way to the juniors, but I think that members who are unable to climb up the ranks unless I give way cannot achieve victory in AKB. I love this group known as AKB, that has been created along with everyone. That is why I wish to groom my juniors. You might feel a tremendous amount of frustration. Frankly, I too am in shock now, and a little vexed. But turn these feelings of frustration into power, and come confront us seniors.
Come like you want to crush us. I will always be waiting. If there are such reassuring juniors who appear, I think I’ll graduate with a smile.
Lastly, these figures are not an assessment of me throughout the last year, but a reflection of the expectations of Shinoda Mariko in the coming year. I want to be expected more of (by others) in the coming year, and I’ll work hard with these feelings of anticipation in my heart from today. Please take care of me, thank you.”
thats a nice speech -__- but long!
All the top 16 got to talk forever and mostly mumbled on and on and then I'd mute them and wait for the next. 17 and up just got a minute or so at most, though I think a few ignored their prompter or whatever and just kept going for a while. They have to limit it because of the 9PM work curfew for the younger girls. It's like, yeah, Jurina did well, but you know she didn't do THAT well because she's going to get kicked out of the stadium 25 minutes early.
