2NE1 will be releasing multiple singles from their upcoming album in stages. The promotional plan for the album's release is very similar to the model they used last year.
For their 2nd mini album last summer, 2NE1 released new singles in 3 week intervals. The same is being done this year.
After releasing their upcoming single "I Love You" on July 5th, fans will have to wait 3 weeks before their next song comes out.
"Instead of introducing the whole album at one time, we want to focus on each song's promotions," YG Entertainment explained.
The girls begin promotions for their new single starting on July 8th with their comeback stage on SBS' "Inkigayo".

I'm psyched to hear their new song, but I've a concern. By the time their last mini-album came out, all six singles were already revealed and sort of took away the surprise from it all. If they do the same thing this time, will their new album still be as popular even with nothing new to look forward to?
