The inactive rock band 175's SHOGO and former member TAKUYA of JUDY AND MARY formed a new unit called MIND THE GAP. After the earthquake/tsunami disaster last year, the two wanted to help raise Japan up and because of those feelings formed this new duo. They will release their new song "Ri -Kotowari-" on the 22nd and it is filled with their positive thoughts for Japan.
TAKUYA last year just had this song float into his head and determined that it wouldn't be right for just one person to sing it, but a song which would be sung hand in hand with someone else. With this inspiration, TAKUYA asked SHOGO to do the song with him and therefore they formed the new band MIND THE GAP.
SHOGO was also pondering all the things that happened to Japan in the last year and thought to himself "What can I do for Japan?" Music has lately been a real life saver in SHOGO's life and so with that music he wants to spread smiles on people's faces.
Their new song "Ri -Kotowari-" will be featured as the ending theme for the variety show "Himitsu no Kenmin SHOW" which airs on Nippon TV every Thursday at 9pm.
