Well then the picture area idea can be out. Unless you guys make it so people can report pictures or something. Sure it is alot of work, but why wouldn't the administrator want to put in alot of work to make the site more entertaining? You know?
Also, I started a pettition like thing of names of people who want the changes. I am hoping someone can show the admin the list and see what he says after that. I am sure he will listen to reason if alot of people on the site want this.
Oh, I see. Well I mean maybe ALL of those ideas at once may not be very good, but some of them may benifit the site. Like, the main goal I was trying to enforce was to make JPA more personalized. The site gets a bit boring sometimes when all people can do on the site is watch videos and chat with people. To add more places for people to personalize their profile and keep up with their friends would only improve the enjoyment of the site. If people who object to that don't want to do it then they don't have to. Having those options open to everyone is still pretty nice though.
I know that people may not want it to be like those social networking sites but adding onto the JPA theme and still having the news and album updates will let JPA grow and not be restricted to a tiny box. Like I said before, adding those new things won't totally change JPA because the people who don't want those things don't need to pay attention to them if they are added.
