How is everyone doing?

Everyday I see a chance for improvement. In the way we perceive things, in the way we think. And everyday I think that people should be improving their lives. Not in the superficial ways-mind you-but in ways of mentality.

I need to take some time in this blog to say that I do judge people too fast and I usually expect the worst concerning people, but that's how my life is and has always been. I wish I could see differently, but when every single ****ing day a person(either online or personally) is barking down my throat and starting confrontations, it's no wonder I just lose it! I hope some of you will understand.

But I have to apologize to those that I have name-called and insulted. Yes, it is true it doesn't get me anywhere. I'm just doing what I wouldn't want someone to do to me, right? I have no right to insult someone because I don't know that person. But the truly admirable people are the people who have the power to forgive. When you meet a person worthy of this power, remember to respect this person because they are doing something even greater, and not for themselves, but for yourself. They are giving you the power to forgive other people yourself. It is truly a great gift.

Anyways, recently I have seen a lot of articles and news about kids who listen to online predators and they fall into their trap of manipulation. Kids are killing themselves because someone told them to!!!

That is ridiculous. As a warning to other kids, I think that their parents should make the kids realize that the online world is a superficial world created from reality, where words may act as bullets in such a young mind. First of all, don't believe everything you see/ hear is true. The human mind can be very persuasive. Don't fall into the trap of merely words and insults. They mean nothing!

For example, take the insult and mix up the letter:

bitch-> chtbi

It means nothing now does it not? Just scrambled letters! Just as the true in-depth meaning of such words can become nothing if you remember that words are just words. Words cannot kill you, but the human mind can be mislead. If someone kept telling me I was worthless and I should just go kill myself...I probably would start believing those words were true, but the only armor in these statements is knowing the truth. The truth lies in every human being. If you believe you are weak, you will become weak. If you believe you are worthless, you will be so.

I know, some of you skeptics are wondering...and how can the human mind be so powerful? Yet, it is simple as that. It in in our minds! We can overcome anything if we just use our minds. I believe humans do not know the true capacity of their minds. We humans are stronger than we think.

Ah ok! I'm done with my wondering. Anyone have any good ideas concerning all this, just message me. =]

Has it been heavily raining in other parts of the world?? Because where I am located it's pouring!!

Oh and don't forget to check out Leah Dizon's new song!

Dark Knight!

Hi guys!
I'm back! =D

I haven't written in forever, I've been so busy!
So today I went out to watch Dark Knight, the movie!
It was fantastic! I recommend it greatly.

Heath Ledger did so well portraying the evil/twisted Joker!
Actually, he was my fav character.

Ahh so awesome.

I want to create a comic book someday, or a manga...

Maybe if I keep practicing drawing, I will achieve my goal.
Anyways, sorry for the lack of quote...Ok ok I got one:

"The more you talk to defend yourself, the more the people hate you."

by Confucius

Usually in confrontations I tell the person I'm arguing with that: "I don't have to explain myself." But when I'm extremely irritated I will insult the confronter by pointing out his/her stupidity.

So here's a lesson to those who confront people:

1.Don't open your mouth unless you have your facts straight.
2.Try not to sound so "smart". You'll end up revealing your greatness weakness: ignorance.

Thank you! >=D

Hope all you intelligent people out there are doing great!

"Love is the triumph of imagination over intelligence."

-H.L. Mencken

The whole idea of "love" seems so surreal to me.
I think people just get their head stuck in a dream
and lose a sense of reality.
It's ridiculous what people will do in the name of "love".

Ah I guess I'm too young to understand.
Why do people say "fall in love" anyway?

(Don't answer that.)

Isn't "love" supposed to be a good thing...
Falling has a negative connotation.
Why isn't it rising in love, leaping to love...??

I do know one thing,
people definantly lust for love!

Maybe I just am stuck in the belief that love is a distraction
rather than an "awakening" of sorts.

Image

Today I helped my mom write a business letter.
Don't you just love red pens?!

Haha!

Well, tomorrow is yet another day
to ponder about the mystery of love.

xoxo

Now tell me,
is Leah distracted by love?
Or fueled by love?

Have a look:

Hola!

I didn't write yesterday
because I went over to my friend Katie's house.
Image
Basically a waste of time
watching "scary" movies, eating, & ghost-hunting.
Nope I didn't find Casper. :sadc:
After all that "fun" stuff,
I was drained. :shifty:
I rather be doing something productive,
like saving the world
from evil :evilc:
laser-strapped monkeys!

:D :giggle:

So much to do, so little time. :surprised:
I have an optometrist appointment on Tuesday... :RBhot:
I'm going to get glasses!

I had a violin lesson yesterday
which didn't go to well
because the cooler :annoyed: in the studio broke
and I couldn't concentrate! :blankstare:
(Hot weather+63 yr old teacher= chaos for violin student)

Well I did accomplish running sprints
but now my knee hurts like a b*%$#!!! :omg:

Tomorrow is another day
another way
In the end everything will be okay.

Like I say:

"Rest when your dead."

おかえり Sweet Home

"Mid pleasures and places though we may roam,
Be it ever so humble, there's no place like home."

-John Howard Payne

My brother left home today
for college
and I didn't even get to say
goodbye.
:RBcrying:
I hope he's doing alright...
Before he left we got in a fight.
My mother was silently crying today
while cleaning his room.
She misses him a lot.
It's funny how much people have an impact on others lives.
He was so quiet..
always in his room on the computer
but without him...
I can't explain it in words
but my house is absolutely silent.
:RBsealed:  :depressed: :RBcrying:

Ahh. But life moves on.
I'm proud of him.
A life of his own.
It will only be a while
until I must take leave from home.
Leaving the rest behind is difficult though.
I wish my mom won't be too sad
when I leave.
Saying goodbye is hard
even in every langauge...
Adios, Goodbye, Auf Wiedersehen,
Itte irasshai, Sayonara, Zai jian,
Annyong-hi kashipshio, Do widzenia

Will I ever see you again?
Has it come to the end...
I miss you
everything you do
don't forget to remember me
& who you used to be.

Anyways, here is a drawing I drew
of Yuki from Vampire Knight:
Image

I apologize for the shitty resolution
my scanner broke a few months ago.
It's for my friend Chloe.
I drew with just a simple pencil...
& yup that's about it!

I must end this journal in a good note...
Everyone should learn to appreciate their home
& their loved ones...
I know it sounds corny
but aren't they the only ones we have
who will always stay and listen in the end?
For those of you who have lost a family member or friend
just have faith and hope in your heart and move along.
This is life, no matter how short,
we must do our best to prosper
& enjoy it to the fullest!
If your brother or sister is in the military
pray for them and wish them the best
I know they will be thinking of you as well.
My brother was in the Army at West Point
& I missed him everyday.
When he came back...
it's like we knew what each other was thinking!
Happiest is one's heart is always the best medicine
for the drowning feeling of sorrow.

Good night everyone!
Sleep well in your homes
wherever you may be,
& remember the family far away
that will always be dreaming of you.

"Success usually comes to those who are too busy to be looking for it."
-Henry David Thoreau

With everyone aiming for success
how must one stay ahead?
I believe we all should strive for success
in the things we enjoy.
What do you like to do?

Today I helped my mother paint
our front porch wall:
it was a biege color.
It matches mi casa better.
:RBohNo:

I'm exhausted from running again today. :RBcrying:
I think I injured my shins. Or shin-splints maybe?
(Usually caused by not streching correctly.
Opps!)
:joops:

Did I mention I love reading the forums on this site?
Everyone is so friendly
& has a great sense of humor!
Image

I got a kawaii new outfit today!
It is a blue (my fav color) blouse by Lena Jeans,
and 2 pairs of
comfortable summer shorts.

I paired it with my fav Texas boots!
Image

Speaking of fashion...
I just love love the way Japanese people dress.
So stylish, cute, comfortable, colorful, and classy!
But that's only if you ask me.

I think people in America are afraid of color
People would laugh if I dressed the way I really desired.

Everything in America is black and white,
red, white and blue...
I wish they'd just explore a hue
from a different view...

Oh great I'm rhyming again
Gomen nasai!

Ok I better get some sleep
before I write poetry
& bore you all to death
so I wish you all a good night!

Summer Sunshine

"There shall be eternal summer in the grateful heart."

-Celia Thaxter

Hi :)

Image

These lazy days of summer
can be so relaxing to the dreamer,
yet hectic for the industrious person.
Diligent or not,
we all must take time to clear our conscious
once in a while.

Today I cleared my thoughts
by starting a poetry book
called 17 Years of Silence.
I just jotch down my musings and ideas.

Anywho, I didn't get any sleep last night :shifty:
so I was a lil moody. Haha
But writing helps me stay calm.

I hope you all had wonderful dreams :D
Never give up your goals in life!

I did accomplish my daily tasks
and I began learning a new song [violin].
I struggled with a shifting measure.
But I won't give up. :madc:

Has anyone noticed how hot it's getting lately? :surprised:
Despite the heat I ran a few miles today
and I decided to...
STOP
& smell the flowers along the way. :giggle:

Recently I've been thinking about how precious life is.
We all must take our time to
realize the things we take for granted.

Go tell your parents that you love them.
Water the plants with tender care.
Call an old friend.

If you haven't got into the summer mood
I suggest YUI's Summer Song
to reminisce those middle school days
where things were so simple.

That's all for now!
