"Mid pleasures and places though we may roam,
Be it ever so humble, there's no place like home."
-John Howard Payne
My brother left home today
for college
and I didn't even get to say
goodbye.
I hope he's doing alright...
Before he left we got in a fight.
My mother was silently crying today
while cleaning his room.
She misses him a lot.
It's funny how much people have an impact on others lives.
He was so quiet..
always in his room on the computer
but without him...
I can't explain it in words
but my house is
absolutely silent.
Ahh. But life moves on.
I'm proud of him.
A life of his own.
It will only be a while
until I must take leave from home.
Leaving the rest behind is difficult though.
I wish my mom won't be too sad
when I leave.
Saying goodbye is hard
even in every langauge...
Adios, Goodbye, Auf Wiedersehen,
Itte irasshai, Sayonara, Zai jian,
Annyong-hi kashipshio, Do widzenia
Will I ever see you again?
Has it come to the end...
I miss you
everything you do
don't forget to remember me
& who you used to be.
Anyways, here is a drawing I drew
of Yuki from Vampire Knight:
I apologize for the shitty resolution
my scanner broke a few months ago.
It's for my friend Chloe.
I drew with just a simple pencil...
& yup that's about it!
I must end this journal in a good note...
Everyone should learn to appreciate their home
& their loved ones...
I know it sounds corny
but aren't they the only ones we have
who will always stay and listen in the end?
For those of you who have lost a family member or friend
just have faith and hope in your heart and move along.
This is life, no matter how short,
we must do our best to prosper
& enjoy it to the fullest!
If your brother or sister is in the military
pray for them and wish them the best
I know they will be thinking of you as well.
My brother was in the Army at West Point
& I missed him everyday.
When he came back...
it's like we knew what each other was thinking!
Happiest is one's heart is always the best medicine
for the drowning feeling of sorrow.
Good night everyone!
Sleep well in your homes
wherever you may be,
& remember the family far away
that will always be dreaming of you.
xoxo
