gif tutorial Pt 2!

here's the second part...

this is what i'm gonna use as example...


i made some print screens on how i made this particular animation ^_^

first of all, make sure you have Windows Movie Maker
[sorry, this tutorial is for Windows users, Mac and other OSs i cant help since i dont use them. my apologies<--there i go again being serious..]

open up Movie Maker...if you dont have it you can download it here

1) find a video you want to make it from, it wont damage the original video as long as you save it under another file name.
more intructions see the print screen


2) choose the part of that video you want, you might have to search a bit within the mini clips Movie Maker split for you..


3) drag it to where it says Storyboard. click above on where it says "Show Timeline" .
if it's vice versa then you're good, just drag it under and make sure it says "Show Storyboard" on top of the timeline...then you can start playing with what you can use...do what you want to that clip ^_^ good luck!!


4) after you've done all your editing, be sure to save it, and with a different name as your original file so you get to keep both


NOTE! PLEASE READ AND FOLLOW ALL DIRECTIONS ON THE PAGE AS WELL AS THE PRINT SCREENS!

then you have 2 CHOICES:

1. go to GifNinja)to convert your mini clip into a gif format, but it resizes it to 160 x 120.( thats pretty small)
2. go to Media-convert to convert to convert the file. it keeps the dimensions, but sometimes it may be too big...
so...
to resize gif animations here are some sites:

* Free online image editor
* Resize GIF Animation

so far i've only used Free online image editor since it's easy to use and you don't have to download anything
as for GIMP, I LOVE IT! <<--- but i havent used it with an animation
the third one, i havent even downloaded it...but you can try it...and tell me what you think ^_^

gif tutorials Pt 1!!

okay... so you want to make gifs.
the first part i will teach u how to make gifs from pictures, like this one..xDD

if u want credit, u gotta have an extra frame (picture) to show that its you who made it,like this


okay so here's how:

go to Picasion
from there, you can upload pictures, or import from Flicr or Picasa

then you can choose the size, and speed.
after making your choice, click "create animation" and there you go!!!
wheee~~~ <---ignore that plz.

if youre not satisfied just do it again, its fast and simple!
