I am so ADDICTED now in JpopAsia! I have been watching and rating music videos since this morning... Hehehe...
While I was moving around the site, I found out that even though this site is JpopAsia, it actually includes Kpop too --- though they don't emphasize it much like they do with Jpop.
I AM SO LATE on news! Such a SHAME!
And to think that it involves Japan entertainment!
I found out that Sawajiri Erika ISN'T the same Sawajiri Erika anymore that I've come to know and admire since the era of "Ichi Ritturo no Namida" or the jdorama One Litre of Tears.
Many fans of her (including me) have already been GREATLY DISAPPOINTED of how she's now turning out to be! WHY, you ask!?
To make up for me being a slowpoke and naivety, I have done a research...
It seems that Sawajiri Erika was being RUDE while on the "Closed Note movie premiere" last 2007 because she answers questions with very short and impolite answers - making it very obvious that she was upset or something which is very unprofessional.
Also there are visible evidences that she is now a lover of a with a 43 yr old man Takashiro Tsuyoshi who is quite known in the entertainment world.
You can see the picture here: http://netplus.nikkei.co.jp/netnavi/chotto/img/cho061215.jpg
I WAS SO SHOCKED after I read this info. This is way beyond shocking! Who'd knew she's turn out to be someone like this!?
Okay - maybe we shouldn't interfere other's love life 'cause what if she's REALLY in love with that man (unbelievable that may be)... But --- well--- it's not really what I have in mind 2 years ago of what she may turn out to be in the future....
Well - whatever... I'll leave that AS THAT! There's nothing I could do about it anyway - it's her life after all...
This afternoon, I finally were able to pull myself away from my laptop (thankz to my big bro) and watched TV instead. I turned the channel to ArirangTV, Korea's Global TV - or I think that's what they say on their slogan... Do you have the channel too!?
I really like the show it was on! It was "Face to Face", a debate competition show. Ever watched it? It's really interesting... There are 2 pairs of contestants or the debaters. One pair is the Preposition while the other is the Opposition. They have 3 rounds and within those rounds, each team should be able to convince at least more than 50% of the jury to win.
Last episode the topic was "Cohabitation Helps Make Prudent Marriage Decisions." Of course, I was with the Opposition side 'cause it has always been my belief that living together before marriage is not really the right thing to do and is an irresponsible act.
Though I thought the team from the Preposition side was much better in delivering the speech convincingly and in speaking English fluently.
Chung Yu-Jin (Ewha Womans University), you rock! You're not only beautiful but you're also very smart and sophisticated.
It's too bad that its the Opposition team who won BUT if ever you'll come back in the show, I'll TOTALLY root for you!
I also discovered the world of online shopping - well, no, for me it would still be the world of online WINDOW shopping! Cuz I can only watch and ask how much is this but won't buy. Don't blame me, even if I want to buy, I can't cuz no money...
But maybe in the future... hehehe... Oh, Mom...
Oh! Almost forgot one teensy-bitsy detail...
I'm beginning to study the Japanese alphabet... There are actually 3 types of alphabet: hiragana, katakana and kanji and each of them has specific functions. I hope I'll be able to master you soon!
Yah, so there! So many things happened to me today. From becoming a JpopAsia addict (who never wants to get a rehab), to having an extreme shock, to discovering a new must-watch show and a new icon to admire and be inspired with, to stepping on a new world of online shopping, and finally to start doing something useful while on summer vacation...
It has been quite a day!
So, I'm a bit tired now. Mettya nemui nen!
Oyasume, minna!
P.S.
Translation of "Mettya nemui nen!"
I'm so sleepy! | |
