JMusic is a breath of fresh air.

I really like JPop or JMusic in general, because of the generally higher craftsmanship or production value inherrent in it compared to the general bulk of western pop.
The messages seem to be more uplifting and the behavior and attitude of the stars themselves, seems to me to reflect a greater respect for their fans. They don't come accross as arrogant and self absorbed like so many of our elite stars do in the United States and Europe.
Also, the writing of the actual music; not lyrics but music, (notes, pitches, rythms) also reflects a greater insistence on reaching out to the intelligence of the audience rather than their dumb side. Basically JMusic of all kinds seems to avoid pandering to the lowest common denominator. Overall I find it much more respectable.
Things about me

I don't offend people unnecessarily simply because I truly care for them.
I will deliberately offend someone if I think they need it...and have a ball doing it.
I am considered very funny and stimulating by most of my coworkers and friends.
I've never met anyone that could exceed a 5% success rate when trying to finish my sentences for me...don't even try.
Ever since I was a little kid I have LOVED to drink vinegar...except apple cider vinegar...that just yucky.
Since I was a kid, I have preferred the taste of potassium chloride over sodium chloride on almost everything.
I love sushi...big slabs of sashimi and eel and octopus.
I would drink buttermilk all day and night if I could.
I've been in law enforcement.
I've been a musical instrument repairman.
I've been a music teacher
I've been a freelance musician...symphony orchestras, brass quintets, rock, funk, jazz, Latin...you name it.
I've lived in the mountains with moonshine running hillbillies in Appalachia.
I can't stand old people who refuse to learn anything new.
In the military I was trained in law enforcement, counter terrorism, and urban assault (SWAT)
I was also a member of the U.S. Army Band.
I have tons of firearms experience, both military, (including east block and Soviet weapons) and civilian.
I have used a gun for self protection a few times.
I have been fired upon by military weapons.
I am for the death penalty for burglary of a habitation, as long as you catch them in the act and shoot them where they stand.
When I'm out hunting for a few days and don't bathe, I love the way I smell.
I love the way rhinoceroses smell.
I have killed many animals for food, including cows, pigs, goats, chickens, turkeys, and sheep. (wild game goes without saying) (fish don't count)
I believe doing the above has focused my understanding of reality.
I love to get on my motorcycle at night and ride till sun up, sleep all day and ride back all through the next night.
I love to sing operatic excerpts on my motorcycle when blasting down the highway in the middle of the night...preferably where the counties are square in central Texas.
Harley Davidson's are overpriced and under worthy and can therefore kiss my ass.
I am a labor union officer.
I don't usually swear...unless it's me and the boys out back.
Most of my life has been spent self employed.
I was married at one time.
My ex wife is a lesbian.
I have a son and he is 19...he is extremely intelligent and ridiculously handsome and we get along great...he can't finish my sentences either...and I don't try to finish his.
My biological father is a Buddhist Priest...I've never seen him face to face but I sometimes talk to him on the phone.
My adoptive father (otherwise known as my REAL father) is dead.
My Mother, like all of the other women in my family including my sisters, is strong and beautiful. If you've ever seen the movie Steel Magnolias, you've seen them.
One of my three sisters died a year ago...she was awesome and I loved her so much. She was an exemplary steel magnolia let me tell you.
My brother is very opinionated, sure of himself. He will instantly stand up for the underdog. He does not compromise on the truth. That's the way I like him.
I don't like dogs or cats generally, but certain individuals I love.
As far as being impressed with celebrity status...I'm not.
Hollywood types impress me the least. I would much rather talk to Margaret Thatcher about potted plants or to The CEO of Exxon about his favorite candy.
I have spoken to King Hussein of Jordan (JY1) about Yagi antenna design.
I have spoken to ships radio operators by said radio, in all oceans and seas all over the globe.
I have a fascination with heavy machinery.
I have an even deeper fascination with huge offshore drilling platforms such as the Troll in the North Sea, owned by British Petroleum.
In about a fourth of my dreams I fly.
I'm taking flying lessons and have indeed soloed
I have been hit in the back with the majority of pellets fired from a shotgun...fortunately it was from a great enough range that only two pellets penetrated my shirt. NOTE TO SELF: Don't hunt with drunken game warden again.
I don't drink alcohol.
I don't smoke pot.
I don't smoke cigarettes.
I don't use mind altering chemicals of any kind.
I think marijuana should be legal in order to focus on nailing the hard drug trade.
I am my own worst critic

Related to my journal name

I chose my journal name to bring light to what the world needs.
"Love is patient, love is kind, and is not jealous; love does not brag and is not arrogant, does not act unbecomingly; it does not seek its own, is not provoked, does not take into account a wrong suffered, does not rejoice in unrighteousness, but rejoices with the truth; bears all things, believes all things, hopes all things, endures all things."
Do you measure up?
I am totally incapable of being Love at all times, but I can try....and so can you.
