Oh, I understand. But if some of them do mean the same, even though being written differently, I guess it would be easier to learn mandarin knowing at least a bit of kanji anyway, because at least you already know the kanji itself. Then all you've got to do is learn its name/meaning in chinese.
But anyway, it's not like I have a big acknowledge in kanji either. So I think I'm screwed either way, haha.

Oh, I've always been curious about it~ I know the chinese ideograms are not read the same as kanji, but do they actually mean the same? Because if they do, that will put me ten steps closer to actually trying to learn mandarin.

Oh, I see. That's really cool though, I wish anyone around me knew mandarin, so I could start listening to it on a regular basis, haha. And I can imagine the worse part gotta be the ideograms. Japanese is a bit simpler in that way I guess, at least hiragana and katakana. Kanji is still equally hard. -_- lol

I know how you feel. Even though I like visual kei, I'm not always in the mood for bloody lyrics, haha. Actually my favorite sub gender is piko piko kei, that is centred in the "technology taking over humanity" concept. Not bloody or heavy at all, lol.
Their lyrics are pretty heavy, about blood and blades and stuff like that, haha. They're trully kinda scary to anyone not really into it.
I love the fact that they sing both in chinese and in english (at least the songs I've listened to so far, couldn't listen to their whole discography yet), so I can know what they're saying, haha. ♥

I really liked CHthonic. Listened to them today, and now I'm going to download the rest of their discography.
I haven't actually heard them yet. I just put it on my iPod, because I like listening to music the best when I'm on the road. When I'm on the computer I pay no proper attention to the music, so I usually don't even listen to it, haha.
But as soon as I listen to it, I'll let you know.
Got it on my iPod already. Next time I'm on the road I'll give them a listen.
At least Morning Musume rotates their members, and AKB48 has a thousand of sub-units too, so it makes everything less confusing. As for those 3840 guys, I don't get them at all. Haha, I thought they looked alike too. Then my friends started telling me their names, and, damn, even their names sound alike. D: I just can't with k-pop.
I'm downloading their Mirror of Retribution album. If I enjoy it, I'll get their whole discography. And I'm loving their visual already, haha. Thank you.
They tried to make me listen exactly to Super Junior, haha. But there were, like, a thousand people in the group. And I don't see why you need so many members just to DANCE, you know? Unless you're Morning Musume or AKB48, then it makes sense, haha.
Oh~ I'll be sure to check them out. It's SO rare for me to see any non-japanese asian rocker. I listened to some k-rock already, and it was quite pleasant. I'll download them for sure.
I don't listen to other asian artists than vk because I really have no idea what to listen to, haha. Actually some friends tried to get me on k-pop but... no. 
If you have any suggestion in j-rock or anywhere else-rock I'll surelly give it a try. I like listening to new things.

Yeah, tell me about it. :/ We are always full of hopes and expectations, then we mature, see how everything really is and get frustrated. But at least there's always music to make us feel better, haha.
That's true. And you can always make new friends too, so it won't be so painful to be without that friend you let go of.
It would be so much easier if friendships were forever like in the movies :/ haha
