Okay so... This week, for school, there was proficiencies. YAy for me though because, I passed all mine. So I did not even have to go to school on Tuesday. I got to stay home like all the little freshies.~ But then Wednesday came and I hear all about this "walk out" students wanted to do because of our teachers and principal.
There was a meeting for the staff and everything and they were pretty much told they will lose their job at our school. Not really their jobs, more like, they are...

I got to stay home like all the little freshies.~ But then Wednesday came and I hear all about this "walk out" students wanted to do because of our teachers and principal.
There was a meeting for the staff and everything and they were pretty much told they will lose their job at our school. Not really their jobs, more like, they are going to be forced to go elsewhere or reapply for our school again. The principal, has to go somewhere else, period. I was like... What? Why? What's going on?
What happened is that our school ended up being designated as a "Tier !" school by the State of Nevada. It gave our district the opportunity to apply for federal dollars and my school, Chaparral is in the process of becoming a Turnaround school. The grant guidelines says that it is required, if the principal of the school has been around more than 3 years, that he has to be assigned to another school and all staff can reapply.. the thing is though, only %50 can be accepted by the new guy.. at most, IF at all. Can be 30%.. can be 0%.. if they so choose it.
It is very sad to me. I love my school, but why? 'Cause of the principal, 'cause of the staff, teachers and everyone inside. Next year, it may be completely different. Even though I won't be in school after this year anymore, it saddens me that I probably won't be able to see all my teachers if I visit. Who knows who will be there, and who won't be.. That school will be completely different, with many people we don't know..
And our principal is just awesome. Most awesome I've ever had! It's upsetting.
I'm not the only one upset.
Our principal had asked us not to do the walk out, it would have only made things worse. [It was horrible, he sounded like he was going to cry, I had to put my head down. I didn't want to cry in class!] But what students did instead, was after school, they gathered in front of the school, held up signs, and expressed their feelings. I had joined in as well. Many students were there, MANY.. Teachers even stood around and watched. Many were crying as well. My sensei cried~ My Japanese teacher I had the last few years, cried.
It was awesome how that went down. So many news people were out with the cameras, recording everyone! It was on the news, and the front page.
The next day, yesterday.. We students, myself included of course, walked from the school to the CCSD building and protested. It was.. just wow. We got so many honks, a lot of course from teachers, when we walked. Parents joined, kids joined.. We were followed by cops to make sure we stayed on the sidewalk and stayed safe. We ended up on the news and everything.
My dad even saw me on the news! As well as my friends. Some of which already graduated! [I have graduated too, but I still attend for certain reasons, it was MY choice.]
So my friend stayed the night, we waited for it to show on the news. Saw ourselves! and whatnot.. then saw all of this about an earthquake and tsunami!
It was shocking. We stayed up watching the news until like 2 am or so. Could not stop watching!
I am still so sad! I'm so sad this happened. I love Japan.. I love the people in it, and I even know people that are there right now. My friend is stationed there and I hope she is fine..
I'm glad that all those bands I love are fine.. and that Junsu had returned to Korea and is fine..
Still so depressed. Never saw this coming. Seeing all the scenes on Japan is just so.. depressing. I really wanted to go there.
I hope they pull through, though. I hope for the best. As well as other places, I hope they are fine..
I'm just... my mind is just.. I can't believe this. Can't believe all is great, sunny and fine, and then bam... All those poor people. Poor beautiful Japan is just..

We took a picture with a random Captain Jack Sparrow. He acted just like him, too. There's always people dressed up on the strip. We saw two Michael Jackson's. One was Silver though and he danced like a robot. We saw an Elvis, of course, and it was in McDonalds where tourists asked for a picture. XD There was also a Hello Kitty, a Minnie Mouse, a dancing ice cream cone, a Winnie the Pooh.. An Angel and a Demon.. A Super Man [My friend ran and waved to him and he was all "No more sugar for her 8l" XD it was funny].. and there was probably others but I can't remember. LOL
At Coca Cola world. I've taken a picture with this bear a few times now.. XD

We watched a movie called Amusement. I found it good but we were confused for awhile lol. Clowns were in it. I'm not too terrified of them but some of the others were XD
We finished it off with Paranormal Entity and that was kind of a bad idea. I liked it though, it was better than Paranormal Activity, at least. XD It made me nearly cry. :c I never want to end up in a haunted house. Dx
So it was a fun day. Made new friends. c:
And I love horror movies. They don't really scare me... my friend[s] did though when they SCREAMED. Dx But it was funny.

So I've been rather dead, for a lot longer than I like.
I missed this site so much, grrr!
My laptop just wouldn't work.
Linux decided not to work anymore so I was screwed.
We got this guy to fix it, well he said he would.
I met him, he was pretty cool..
But apparently that old dude was having many problems with people and he got framed and the cops were on his butt.
Soo... he committed suicide. Hung himself.
So yeah, my laptop? Obviously didn't get fixed.
Creepy though....

So my birthday was a week ago and it was fun. I didn't get much or anything but I hung out with friends. It was a little rocky at first because a lot showed later than planned, only one being earlier than even me.
I'm going to try to put it short..
We tried to meet at McD's but I only met one friend.
He made me go to Sam's Town.. where we met up with more friends cause they drove and beat us there.
We went to the arcade.. My biological mother calle...
So my birthday was a week ago and it was fun. I didn't get much or anything but I hung out with friends. It was a little rocky at first because a lot showed later than planned, only one being earlier than even me. I saw my half sister the next day and she gave me stuff. I had fun with her though it wasn't for a long time. Her daughter gave me a few random things. She's so cute, and sweet Oh, and my friend Sandy finally returned so I've been hanging out with her a lot! Then blah blah blah.. I enrolled back into school Thursday, and it took foreverrrr! I waited hours then when school lunch started. I went to it then came back to find out they called me awhile I was gone. I hate that! But I got it done. But I had to stay over and then my dad had work but had this guy he knows to come pick me up.. which never happened. Like.. now.. I need a nap. ~_~ Bye~

Another friend finally showed up and then we took a bus to the Galleria mall. Hung out mostly in the food court, then that friend left. More friends showed, then we wandered Hot Topic and then left.
We split up, some went to Sunset Station while me and a few others went to Del Taco.
Then we joined up just to say by to the others that split from us cause they had to go to a concert.
So we took the bus to Boulder Station..
My friend Crystal and I saw the Last Exorcism which she was horribly perverted about, so we laughed and we were so loud XD
Her sister and my friend Obed who was with us most the time split with us then to see a rated R movie which we couldn't because we didn't have ID's.. Which is why we saw that movie.
After that, we ran into more friends through her.. hung around outside the casino then ended up at Burger King inside..
I didn't get home until past midnight.
I was going to write about my birthday then but I was so tired.
Then I just never did until now XD
I only have four classes.. but two are the same for reasons.
So I have two classes a day. I get to go later and leave earlier. Yay.
Pretty much I have just three classes right..
And my first day in all of them.
WE HAD A TEST.
I had to do it in two.. to just try.. one lost it's point because the teacher was stupid so she just let us use the notes. The other was simple..
Then the only test I wanted[Well, I was just ready for it, it was easy] to do, which was today.. He said I didn't have to. So I just sat around.. haha.
Then Friday I went to my friends party which she.. well our friend took over and he threw it but it was at her place, because her parents were out for the weekend.. So typical, right? But I would've done so to. She hardly gets any freedom.
It was great. I'm not getting into details there.
The car is STILL gone.
Pretty much stolen.
Which sucked because yesterday I had to walk everywhere to do things.. I got my hair cut and Sandy and I went to a friends then McD's and it got dark so we walked to her place and I couldn't get picked up and everyone was all "No walking home in the dark!"
So I had to stay the night.. but all my clothes and school stuff was at homee...
So pretty much, I woke up at 6 and walked home.. got home around 6:45.. drank coffee because I was sooo tired and needed it. Got ready around 7:20, left to school at 8.. I walked, obviously.. then I walked back and I'm just DONE with walking, damnit. Too much lately!
So I'm very tired.
I just figured I'd post another journal then head to bed..
