Well sorry to anyone that has been wondering where I am. Very busy lately. My friend from Japan has just moved in so I have been rushing around trying to sort everything out for him as he isn't that confident with his English to do it himself. Also been trying to re learn some Japanese from him which is pretty choice. Once I have sorted his stuff I should be able to get on here a bit more. That is until I go back to work then I will be back to being an oldie sleeping all the time :P Anyway ...

Today is the day for remembrance of soldiers who have died for Australia and New Zealand

They shall grow not old, as we that are left grow old:
Age shall not weary them, nor the years condemn.
At the going down of the sun and in the morning,
      We will remember them.
      Lest we forget.

Well unfortunately I haven't died, sorry to depress anyone that was hoping. I will be a lot less active on here now. Work started back and apart from Statutory Holidays I don't have another break till christmas. I will try to post on walls when I have time just to keep in touch but even that might be a hard task. Been back 2 days and I am so keen to take a break but that's just not possible. Only good thing is I will have plenty of money to waste on a decent holiday at the end of ...

Well I am blessed with beautiful islands close to New Zealand that are great places to take holidays. Unfortunately that is also a problem. Well I am blessed with beautiful islands close to New Zealand that are great places to take holidays. Unfortunately that is also a problem. I have decided to take a holiday to an island at the end of the year. I have been looking at possibilities and really can't narrow down where I would like to go. So far the only ones I have ruled out are Cook Islands just due to the fact its part of New Zealand although it is a lovely place to go, and I have also ruled out Tonga. That leaves us with a choice of New Caledonia, French Polynesia, Samoa or Fiji.
I like all of them but I am swaying more towards New Caledonia just because it is the closest islands to New Zealand. Only problem there is that it is expensive as it uses Euro and also my French is very rusty and i don't speak Kanak so I may have a tough time there although there are a lot of New Zealander's there also. If anyone can help then please do, I am really stuck right now.

They all have their pros and cons. All of them are not too far from New Zealand which is great. Problem with them all is that they do not speak much English outside of the resorts. New Caledonia and French Polynesia I can cope with as I speak a little bit of French, as for Samoa and Fiji not a lot of people can speak English. They all have good ties with New Zealand so I will be welcomed by locals as New Zealand is kind of the head of the Pacific. Out of all of them New Caledonia and Tahiti are the only places I am likely to stay in a city. Samoa and Fiji would be on resort islands as they are less developed countries. I am still however looking more towards New Caledonia.

I will attach photos so you can see for yourself what they look like and if you have any comments please leave them.

          Thank you guys

So today (10th of January) is my 20th birthday. To be honest I don't really care bout my birthday anymore. Just another day really. Another year older. Luckily I don't feel old yet. Not sure what gift's I will be getting, just have to wait and see. So my teen years are gone, which were probably the best years of my life. Now its probably time to grow up and stop sleeping till 3pm after many hard nights out :P . Not quite sure what this year will bring or whether I will be staying ...

With work and stuff I probably will, just depends on whether my girlfriend can move back here, if not I might have to head to that crappy country next door :p Well I think I will go out tonight and have a few drinks with some mates and maybe grab a bite to eat, can't say it will be a late one as its Tuesday here. Well thanks to all the people who have wished me a Happy Birthday, Much appreciated.

Well 2011 was great but I am looking forward to this year. I have family moving over from Scotland who I haven't seen for a long time which will be great. Also my best friend from Japan is moving to New Zealand this month which will also be great since its been a while since I have seen him also. Hopefully I won't get sick of the guy. Haven't been over there for nearly 2 years so it would be good to catch up with everyone. Really sick of work but at least I know that the money I earn will be going towards holidays so thats something I am looking forward to alot. Need to probably start looking for a house too but its much more fun living off your parents, so much cheaper :p. Really hope this year is a good one not just for me but everyone else aswell. Take care all and have a good 2012. · close

Nothing better than going to beach and having a barbeque on Christmas Day. Play a bit of beach cricket and soccer, drink some beers from the chilly bin and just relax with all of your family. Go home at night and sit down round the table and have some yummy Turkey, Beef and Chicken. Scoff down the numerous Pavlova's for desert until you feel sick. Party hard into the early hours of the morning and wake up and do it all again with a Barbeque on Boxing Day.
                I love New Zealand Christmas.

With all the shit going on lately it's just what I needed. Iv decided now I no longer give a shit about what has happened. I'v completely forgotten and could not care less about what happens from here. I have done what I can. Wel my side is actually really in pain now from too much laughter. • Pacquiao vs Marquez

Good to see the "Fighting Pride of the Philippines" Manny Pacquiao win today but seriously boxing sucks. Juan Manuel Marquez clearly won that fight. How could the judges be so blind. Everyone else watching that fight surely agrees that Marquez should have won. I do like Pac-man as a boxer and iv got nothing against him but I really do feel sorry for Marquez, thats twice now that he should have beaten Pacquiao.

Been waiting 24 years to become World Cup champions but we have finally done it again. Country is going mental right now. Lucky its a public holiday today, need time to recover after last night. Few to many drinks consumed i think :)
