Wizard

In early 2004 Wizard consisted of 3 members, the guitarists Hiro and Mitsunori and the vocalist Kaito. Back then they already had gigs under the name “Wizard” and also released their first single “Scarmiglione”. The three of them released a second single before bassist Saki joined the band. Short after that Mitsunori left, and instead of him Masumi joined the band. When finally drummer Shou joined they were complete for the first time and released a single right away.

One year later they signed with the Label Speed Disk. After their concert at June 17th in 2005 at the HOLIDAY Shinjuki Shou left the band and they had to look for a new member again. After they found Haruka as new drummer the band was complete like we know them today and released their first LP-Album “Gemini” at December 21st, 2005.

In 2006 several singles were released and after that they gave concerts throughout Japan until on Novemer 1st their second Album “Aquarius” was released. Not long after the release in Japan this album was also released overseas on the European Market.

The mini-album “Ura Wizard” (release date: July 7th, 2007) is a special one, because Kaito is not the only one to sing on it. All members show their ability to sing.

With the beginning of 2008 the album “Divine” was released (February 26th) which is supposed to be released in Europe at the end of the year. But that was not the only new thing in 2008. They left their Label to join a Major one. This is the reason the compilation “with – Indies Best – “ was released on July 23rd, it is supposed to show the end of their Indies-time.
On October 22nd their new single “Sadistrip” is supposed to be released.

The band went on indefinite hiatus in early 2013. · close
