When they were fourteen years old,the elder sister Michiko really wanted to be a staff member of NASA,and younger sister Yoko fancied to study in London.
One day they saw a magazine advertising of a vocal school in Fukuoka, their home town, and had a big interesting in it. They tried out for the vocal school and it is begun to follow the way to singers.
In 2002, they were picked up by the TV show “FUTURE TRACKS” as an amateur vocal group with miracle voices. It broadcasted every week,crossed in more than eight months.
The Kasahara sisters were singing MONICA’s song in English.
A&R guy from Zomba Records Japan watched the TV show and he asked their management to try their audition to be a international singer…
and finally they passed the audition of a record company.
They contracted with ZOMBA RECORDS for world wide.
They were provided some songs by world famous songwriters,producers such as ANDY MARVEL (SHY GUY- Diana King), JORGEN ELOFSSON (Britney Spears),
MAX MARTIN… and were produced by DOUGLAS CARR and PETER BOSTROM of LA CARR STUDIO in Stockholm.
December 2002, they released their debut mini-album (5 songs) titled “BEFORE I FALL” in Japan. All songs are song in English. One of the song “IS IT LOVE (JOREGEN-MARTIN)” was used as a theme tune of American TV series “FB Eye” aired in Japan.
“BEFORE I FALL” mini-album was sold over 30,000 copies in Japan.
They have never appeared on TV or on stage shows, but just only once, they did a showcase live with piano. People of 600 or more media and CD store people gathered there.
In 2004, their contract between ZOMBA/BMG had been expired.
They have 10 new songs with LA CARR STUDIO,and will start a new career in Europe.

Spring of 2005, their debut single in Scandinavia, ”Is It Love” which is produced by Douglas Carr and Peter Bostrom has been released to the radios in Sweden. And the song has been aired all over Sweden by Major radios and it was #37 debut on TOP40 chart and was going up to 22. This is the very first time for Japanese singer to be in the national chart in Europe.

In 2005, Twill attended RIX FM SUMMER FESTIVAL (Karlskrona and Karlstad), RadioP3 SUMMERTOPPEN (Lulea) and Radio City Summer Festival (Gothenburg) in Sweden and they performed “Is It Love” and “One Step At A Time” there in front of more that 10,000 audience.
Also they appeared on P3 Radio show and OKEY magazine.
Then they have released their 2nd single “One Step At A Time”written by Jorgen Elofsson and produced by Douglas Carr and Peter Brostom.

At Radio P3,they were introduced a Japanese artist who appeared on their radio show after 50 years.

In 2006 Twill got a great chance in Scandinavia.
They joined Anders Johansson’s latest album “Anders Johansson”(released April 7th) as a duet singer with him.
They attended his recording session in Gothenburg and performed “Miss You When I Dreamin’”The song is included in his album as a bonus track.

They were invited to RIX FM SUMMER FESTIVAL 2006 again.
They performed “Miss you when I dreamin’” with Anders Johansson On stage and also sung “IS IT LOVE” and unreleased tune “FINALLY”.
They did it in Halmstad, Orebro, Lulea and Umea in July to August.
They also appeared on “MORNING SHOW” on TV4 and performed that song.

During this summer tour, Twill were in LaCarr Studio with their producer,Douglas Carr and recorded new songs, which will be out through DOGMATIC RECORDS soon.

TTheir very new song is now aired on TV in Japan, as a tie-in tune with DYNACITY a real estate company.(see "links"page)
Their name, Twill will be spread all over not only Scandinavia but Europe, and Japan very soon.
