In 2001, Tizzy Bac’s performances at Formoz Festival 2001 and Hohaiyan Rock Festival 2002 were praised by fans, artists and critics, including Cat Power, who was fascinated by Hui-Ting Chen’s ‘powerful voice’.
2003, Tizzy Bac’s first album ‘Everything Distracts Me’ (‘Shen me shi dou jiao wo fen xin’甚麼事都叫我分心) assembled 10 pieces of work continuing their passionate and kaleidoscopic style.In the same year, drummer Kai-Tong Zheng(凱同) leaved the band and the new member 林前源 joined the band.
Their EP ‘Sunstroke’(‘Xia ji re’夏季熱) was released in 2005, with a fresh and new image. This EP has brought rich and elastic rock, maintaining their distinguishing basis.
