Formed in 2005, SLUR was started by Yeah, singer, guitarist and Aims, drummer. They met each other at the New Year party at their friend’s house, they both agreed that they want to make music that very simple but requires a lot of effort on sound design. They started a project named, ‘The Save Par’. They made 50 CDs that were completely sold out at Fat Festival 3. After their success boys decided that they need more members. Aims recommended his friends from high school, Galib, to play bass and Bank, the trumpet player. Later on boys changed the name to Slur.
Soon enough they added another guitarist - Pae and replaced Galib with Boo.

They started off by playing at university gigs and were working on their first demo at the same time. Smallroom label thought that they weren't good enough and gave them a year to improve. Little by little Slur had a chance to perform on different festivals such as Fat Fest, So-on, Panda and DudeSweet.

Their first album Boo! came out on 5th of October 2006, they named it after one of the band members. Slur were considered to be the best new comers on thai-rock stage. They have won several awards, and had number one hit single.

Noisedeluxe records, an indie label who has seen the band performing at Fat Festival 6 was impressed with Slur and arranged for boys to have a 10 days tour in Germany in 2008. Their album Bum! was released all over the country. · close
