Yeah, what happened, how did they jump up the oricon from 19 to 6 all of a sudden? Anyway, simple dance makes me think of hanabiratachi... so they really come across as a full AKB pseudo-reboot as opposed to any sort of immediate rival, no matter how contrived.
They're still promoting themselves, in different areas not done before due to time constraints, while many ppl are still coming to know them.
Of course, but that still doesn't usually make much of an immediate impact on sales. I guess #6 on single's chart doesn't take that much though, but I would have expected more of a gradual decrease in ranking as opposed to a jump back up. It's like they didn't promote themselves for a week or so and then suddenly showed up on something that got them a lot of sales.
They only need 1 day of promotion =) In just one day they sell about 11k copies, while the rest of the week it's the usual... and that's it. It's enough to get them to 14.6k by the end of the week and end up at no. 6
