Megamasso (メガマソ) is an indies Visual-Kei band, started by Ryouhei the former leader and guitarist of Ayabie. They have a fun filled experimental sound that mixes a lot of punk and upbeat poprock songs.

biography

On December 16th, Megamasso held their first LIVE at Shibuya O-East, which was then filmed and released on DVD Mega-star Tokyo. This concert included unreleased songs which would be available on their second mini-album, Kai no Mokutō no Zokuryō, released January 24th. Yūta decided to leave the band on June 9th because he was not interested in their current musical style.

Watashime Slug

Ryōhei is producing for a visual kei band entitled Watashime Slug (ワタシメスラッグ, Watashimesuraggu?), which has members Leo (レオ, Reo?), a former support guitarist for Megamasso, and Soshi (総史?), a vocalist. Their debut album, Jūryoku, was released on August 22, 2007 and distributed through LIKE AN EDISON shops in Tokyo, Osaka, Nagoya, and Harajuku.

The songs Hoshi Furi Machi Nite and Sanmanganjin were featured on Livly Island, and LIPS is opening theme for Anitere Jōhōkyoku.

純粋培養 Junsui Baiyou is featured in Guitar Freaks V6 & DrumMania V6 BLAZING!!!!. The song's video uses various clips of previous Megamasso songs. According to Gou, the song will be only heard in the video game or played live.

i really like megamasso songs principally rocking songs
but the last song, i forgot the name , isn't good
but hanabira was great and many other olds songs are great too like white white , gymnasium , bullet song , the majority loves kill star ..... etc
is very nice to listening megamasso song's
