MANNEQUIN

MANNEQUIN is quite a new 4-piece visual kei band, formed during the summer of 2007. They attracted a lot of attention when HAKUEI of PENICILLIN and machine composed songs for their first mini album Seeds of Empty Flowers. The band's vocalist KAZUMA is also known from the Japanese drama series "Princess Princess D" where he played the role of a schoolboy.

Thanks to KAZUMA's vocals and their intriguing guitar riffs, MANNEQUIN's songs are more appealing and pragmatic than the tunes of an average vk band.

MANNEQUIN was formed in July of 2007. Their first performance was at an event at SHIBUYA O-West on the 12th of August, about a month after their formation.

After a few lives they released their first mini album, Seeds of Empty Flowers, in November. The mini album included songs composed by HAKUEI (of PENICILLIN and machine), which gave MANNEQUIN a little boost and recognition from the visual kei scene.

The band's second release was a full length album called Empty Flowers, released on August 27th.

MANNEQUIN is now busy doing lives and they'll have their first oneman, Empty Flowers, at IKEBUKURO CYBER on September 27th. They were also scheduled to perform at the Finnish convention "Tsukicon", but unfortunately their appearance was cancelled.
