    LAZYBONE

Seoul,Korea-2004) When we turn on the TV, we often hear recognizable songs on TV commercials. Deahan Life's jingle, "Sanoramen", is one of those. Sanoramen is the name of the song that Lazybone sang for this commercial.

Deahan Life was looking for a band that could bring a joyful message to the public while in the making for this commercial. Lazybone was their choice!! Lazybone has a sound of ska punk rhythm with shout vocals that only Lazybone can produce. A ska rhythm with an emphasized brass section and shout vocals, which can often be found in Sibuya PUNK, are used by Lazybone. Nationally only Lazybone has this sound.

On the 1st of April, 2004, Lazybone's new song, "Sanoramen", was released. Right after release, this song appeared on Daum's music message chart as that week's number one song. For 9 weeks, this song was with in the top 6. To this day it's still in the top 3.

Lazybone's new song, "Sanoramen", will be included on single repackaged album and an upcoming 3rd album.

Of course this use of a Lazybone song on a TV commercial isn't the first time. In 2002, NII's TV commercial, with actor Woo Seung Jeung, used Lazybone's song, "Early Morning", after Lazybone sang in his movie, "Dog". Early morning is the song that is more modern rock than the ska punk Lazybone usually does. Participating in this TV commercial, using this song, was a unique experience for the band.

Moreover, one of the biggest search engine, "Empas", picked Lazybone as a major content model for 2004. Empas focused Lazybone as the main entertainment model in a Blog and Internet Cafe project. Through this project Lazybone can meet their fans and can promote their new albums. In addition to this, SK communication, game total site Ddangkong, and Nate on messenger are using Lazybone's music on their web site as background music. This creates new interest so that Lazybone's new album can be promoted easily.

Lazybone was introduced to people when "Red Hot Chili Peppers" visited Korea for their concert. Lazybone was invited as one of the guest bands and performed at the beginning of the concert. This helped make Lazybone the top Korean Punk Band. In 2002, the World Cup was held in Korea and Japan. Lazybone's song, "Go West", took over Korea and Lazybone became well known. In 2003 their second album, "Do it yourself", had a very successful release.

For the second album's music video concept Lazybone performed a Galliard concert. A Galliard concert is given without the notice to the fans. The singer appears at a random place and performs. It was the first time that a Korean group used this concept for their music video. World wide, this concept has been used by Limp Bizkit and SUM 41.

This live concert was held in the Meung Dong area and was packed with people who wanted to see Lazybone.
