Compared to this band's previous project, Billy, Baddies is still influenced by metal, blues, and rock genres. However they have changed their fashion style into something a bit more contemporary, in contrast to their previous visual style.

Baddies (or Hana Shounen Baddies) might be better known as the band Billy. They were a popular visual kei band who was formed in 2005 but had a sudden hiatus on February 22, 2009. A couple of months later, they re-emerged with the same line-up under a new name: Baddies, and are now under new management. They have signed to Victor Entertainment Inc.

Beginning activities in May 2009, Baddies had their first event called Boys In Blue a couple months after their formation. The second half of the year has been very active for the band. In August, they released their first single titled Boys in Blue. A couple months after that, they released their second single, Book. Activities continue going strong by ending the year with a DVD release on Christmas Eve and the announcement of a third release at the beginning of 2010.

Despite the fact that Baddies is a young band and just started mid-2009, they have already shown much potential, and fans should expect to see a lot of them as they increase their activities for the coming year. · close
