Fukumimi

fukumimi （福耳） is a collaboration of artists under the management of Office Augusta. Led by Suga Shikao, Masayoshi Yamazaki, and Kyoko, the group has grown to a total of 16 individuals, including Chitose Hajime, COIL, Sukima Switch, Yuko Araki, Motohiro Hata, Tomoyuki Nagasawa, and MICRON'STUFF.

Formed in 1998-04-12 the band's original members are Suga Shikao, Yamazaki Masayoshi, and Kyoko. The band made their debut at a performance together at Zepp Sapporo. Their first single was released in 1999 entitled Hoshi no Kakera wo Sagashi ni Ikou Again. The band gained popularity through performances together at various live events, the most popular being Augusta Camp, which is a huge live event for all artists under the management of Office Augusta. It was during these performances that other artists with Office Augusta started to perform with the band. The band released their second single, [10 Years After], in 2002 with the addition of COIL and Hajime Chitose to the line up. In 2003 the bands third single, [SUMMER of LOVE/ALL OVER AGAIN], was released. The band went on a long hiatus but continued to perform together at various live events. Finally, in 2006 the band released their fourth single, [惑星タイマー (Wakusei Timer)], adding Araki Yuko (mi-gu) and Sukima Switch to the line up. It was also announced that the band would be releasing their first ever album, [THE BEST WORKS] highlighting the bands singles as well as live performances.

he collaborative unit Fukumimi has been chosen to provide the theme song for TV Asahi's broadcasts of this year's summer Koshien tournament. The song, titled "Natsu wa Korekara da!," is being released on July 16 on the "DANCE BABY DANCE" single. ·
