EE Jump was a J-Pop duo made up of Sonim and Goto Yuuki (Goto Maki's younger brother). The Tsunku-produced group was not admitted into the Hello! Project simply because of Yuuki's gender. The group proved to be very quirky and sometimes downright weird, but their combination of pop/opera/rap/hillbilly-music proved to be very popular.
Male talent Ken was part of the group as a dancer in the beginning of its run, but he left before the group became well-known.
After Yuuki was caught in a bar underage, he was to take a 3-month leave from the group. During this time Sonim released a single under 'EE Jump featuring Sonim' which became one of the group's more successful singles. EE Jump released one more single before they split. · close
