DUSTAR-3 is a J-Rock trio formed in 2004 after SEX MACHINEGUNS and Lucifer both disbanded in 2003. The band consists the former bassist of SEX MACHINEGUNS, Noisy along with his old band mate Himawari on drums. They are joined by Yuki from Lucifer. They referred to themselves as the 'Pants Rock Band'.

They started their activities in March of 2004. Noisy was designated as the vocalist while playing the bass, but both Yuki and Himawari decided to sing too occasionally as how they would call it as 'something new'.

They started their career with three mini albums titled "Dustar I, II and III". While they continued to make releases, they started to perform in small live houses, gaining more popularity in the process.

Before they even started for a year, the band already released their Best of compilation in December called "PANTS NOT BEST". It made their fans worried if their career was about to over.

The rumor was scrapped to dusts when they started 2005 with a seven-stop-tour called "Economic Pants Tour". At that time, they were also working on their first full album "Try Try Try", which was released in April. After the release, they started another tour called "Summer Pants Carnival 2005 Tour", gaining huge support from the fans when almost every shows were sold out.

In the fall and winter, the band released two new mini albums, "100%" and "200km/h", and their first live DVD, "PANT$ NOT DEAD “LOVE U DEADL¥” TOUR IN AUTUMN 2004" which kicked off their first new tour of the new year. The "Economic Pants Tour 2006" received an even more success than the previous one, selling out at every eight stops.

The band released their second live DVD during the tour called "SUMMER PANTS CARNIVAL 2005" in February. As they keep on gaining success and popularity, they opened their official fan club, "Melty Chocolat" to give fans more insight about their music.

Their 6th mini album, "300ºC", was released in April 2006, followed by "Hachigatsu futsuka wa pantsu no hi" in August. They wrapped up the year with the release of "Dustar-3 no ROCK n’ ROLL JAM" in December. · close
