Visual band Deshabillz was formed by SHUN (vocals), MATSU (guitar), FUAY (guitar) and YUJI (bass) in Yokohama in 1992. They also had a support drummer, Jun, at the time. After about a year of activity, Jun became an official member of Deshabillz and in December 1992 they released their first demo tape, "DEAD FINAL JUNK", which was limited to 500 copies, and first VHS, which was limited to 100 copies.
In March 1993 they released their second demo tape, "Restcla", which was limited to 100 copies and played a live called "Shinhan no hi" with Yokohama visual bands, BLANCHE and Krishna. Their first album was set to be released through Ra Miss, but it is speculated that the label was changed when YUJI and FUAY left the band in October of that year. Their replacements were HIROSHI on bass, who joined in November, and SHI-NO on guitar, who joined in December. In the same month that SHI-NO joined, they played a one-man 2 day live at Yokohama Monster, at which more demo tapes were distributed, and after that they temporarily had a pause of activity. However, during this hiatus, "Uragiri no chi butai", a VHS that was limited to 1000 copies, was released and the song "Ginzo Yume" was featured on the compilation CD "NEO-ROCKS".

The band announced their return in June 1994 along with news of their first album, "Shin Juusha". After the album went on sale, HIROSHI left the band and was replaced by Shigure, who had been their roadie, and after that, Jun too left and was replaced by TOSHIYUKI. Unfortunately, due to being hospitalised Shigure had to leave the band after the album gSeishin Ridatsu Monoh and was replaced by Biibi. Shigure did recover though, and went on to be in CANARY with Jun. TOSHIYUKI also left and KAZUKI joined for their last album, "Boutoku Kigeki".

Deshabillz once again ceased activities on May 7th 1998 due to the tragic death of Biibi in a traffic accident he was in whilst on the way to hide’s funeral. At this time, SHUN said that Deshabillz would not continue without him. However, the band did release the album "Shinjitsu no omocha hako" in memory of Biibi on the first anniversary of his death. At this time, SHUN was active with Domestic+Child, KAZUKI went on to be in Due’le Quartz and RUSH and SHI-NO went on to be in JE*REVIENS · close
