Kate and Shige form the Japanese pop duo DadaD.
Kate writes the duo's lyrics and acts as the vocalist.
Shige writes and plays the music.
The duo's name is derived from the art movement Dada- a movement of anti-art which challenged the boundaries and conventions of art.
The duo strives to promote international relations- often using foreign languages in their lyrics.
