Buck-Tick
BUCK-TICK is a popular Japanese rock group formed by Hisashi Imai (and Yutaka Higuchi) in 1983. They are considered one of the founding/fathering groups of th visual kei style(along with X-Japan), though their songs do not follow any specific genre in particular. The name of their band is an anglicized form of baku chiku (Japanese for "firecracker").

* Hisashi Imai on guitar, electronics, miscellaneous noise, and background vocals (also writer of most music)
* Hoshino Hidehiko on guitar, keyboard, and background vocals
* Higuchi Yutaka on bass
* Yagami Toll on percussion
Although they use different surnames, Toll and Yutaka are brothers. In the past, Buck-Tick have performed with bands such as Marilyn Manson, KMFDM, Luna Sea and Soft Ballet. The side-projects Schaft and Schwein consisted of Hisashi Imai, Atsushi Sakurai, Maki Fujii (ex. Soft Ballet), Raymond Watts (also known as "PIG" ) and Sascha Konietzko (KMFDM).
Buck-Tick has always consisted of the same five members, though Hisashi Imai's original band "Hinan Go-Go" consisted of Sakurai Atsushi on drums and a vocalist called Araki. Later, Sakurai took Araki's place as vocalist, and Yagami Toll was recruited as drummer, creating the official Buck-Tick band and their formation of members that has existed ever since. · close

Happy Birthday Atsushi! 
Came across them thanks to J-melo. And I fell in love. They are one of my favorite bands since I came to know them. I wish to see them live at least once. I don't care if I have to go to Japan to do so. Or by some miracle they come to the US. That would be an event that I would do anything and everything to go to.
The only case when my mom said she liked a Japanese song was when she heard Mr. Darkness and Mrs. Moonlight by Buch-Tick. She said Atsushi has a beautiful voice. And coming from someone who can't stand any Japanese music that says something already

Buck-Tick are a Legend.. they are one of the first Jrock bands I listened to, and their song Miss take is beating all the songs in my mp3 player and going to be the most listened song! I don't know why people keep saying it was disappointing. I watched one of buck-tick's interviews, Imai said that Miss Take was inspired by the cyberpunk manga.. OZ. What Yume Miru Uchuu is going to be like? 
But anyway, I wanted to say that I love Buck-Tick.. they are really amazing band!

I love Buck-Tick so much ;A; they are an amazing band, and they will forever be, trough all this years they have done nothing but improve, all of their songs are so honest, Imai is a genius, Higuchi is a great bassist and I love his bass guitar, so pretty *^* well, they are all amazing musicians and Im so in love with Atsushi's voice, is so beautiful and perfect *sobs*....all the feelings everytime I listen to them.
Other thing that impress me is that you listen to them and you love them, but then you listen to them live and they sound exactly the same....no...even better hoooowww they do it *----* asdfasdf I dont know how to explain myself but omg all the feelings just thinking about it...lol ok I have to stop (´･_･`)

Acchan, Imai, Hidehiko, Yutaka and Toll, I am so glad that all of you are safe and well. I pray that everyone in Japan will be safe and out of danger. I am sad to hear, that your March 21st concerts were canceled, I will be looking forward to see you guys in concerts, next year. God bless and take care!
Buck-Tick is the Greatest! They had never fail me, i totally loved all their songs!!!!! the vocalist (Atsushi Sakurai), ........ so HOTTT!!! D^_^Y
