gee, i started listening to Megumi Hayashibara and from there on out, i went to listening to Japanese music.
anime of course... i think i heard AKFG's after dark....
Watching anime, it made me curious as to what they were saying, but the emotion of it is what pulled me in. After that it set me on a wild ride, and in fact if it was not for Japanese music, I do not think music would have influenced me as much as it does now. I am grateful for it.
It had to be anime.
I was just watching some Death Note when I came across their OP and ED. I searched more about Nightmare, then a few other VK bands. (:
first it was Hamasaki Ayumi's song 'Moments', then after some anime/J-drama/manga, i'm totally in for j-music ![]()
Naruto. I regret nothing ![]()
It was from anime I watched. It's aired on tv. From Inuyasha, Detective Conan and Fruit Basket. Until now, I watched a lot of anime and listen to more Japanese songs.

Anime like One Piece, Pokemon, Dragonball, Gravitation! Oh sometimes I wish my good old Anime days! xD

您好!打电话给我Ppongi。
I was never really into Japanese music until 4 years ago.
I started listening to Japanese rock music. (Visual Kei/Oshare Kei bands)
They really inspired me a lot! When I was first introduced to them, I thought, "They all look like girls", or "Are they gay?"
Haha, looking back it now, I find it funny and amusing.
Because of them, that's how I became of myself today.
I am quite glad to be introduced into the Japanese music community.
My amazing friend introduced me to KAT-TUN!
Thing that introduced me to the world of Japanese music was... myself and some anime. When watch anime, I will watch until the ending song playing.
