Yes, I agree that their comment was unwarranted, but so are a lot of Kpop fans who call Japs ugly. I've seen it time and time again. You don't have to act as if Jpop fans are like that. I like Kpop but their fans, are ruining it for me. I think you got your feeling hurt at JPA, because everyone kowns Kpop fans are crazy and scary (not my opinion, go ask google)
If you've been listening to Japanese music for that long, and all you can comment is that, you must hate Jpop a lot, huh? I haven't even seen you have a true fan of Jpop or Jrock on your list... It was a waste of listening to Japanese music for that long. In fact, you sound like a biased K-pop fan who is newly introduced to Jpop.
And also, I've been here for a long time. I've been here for two years, but just made an account recently. (mostly to reply to some of your biased comments, i'll admit that) I honestly haven't seen much bashing against Koreans or Kpop. There might be one or two,, like the comment above, but there are also bashing from Kpop fans. Not all Jpop fans hate Korea. My cousin lives in Korea. I love Korean culture and Korean food. Sadly, some Kpop fans are making it hard for me.

you said i assume but you assume also....if it was 10 years ago i will have many Japanese artists but not right now
you must missed my comment on x-Japan winnig an award news
i mean if you think i dont know any japanese music we can debate about it i have no problem what so ever
like i said i been listeing to Japaneses music for a long time and been to Japan many times to visit my friends so im very comfy to talk about whatver you want

I'm sorry, I was referring to Kpop fans who call Japanese as Japs. I know its an offensive term. I was just saying how they call them.
I did see that comment, and that is why I toned myself down because you obviously don't hate Jpop that much but you still have something against Jpop fans and I don't know why. Technically fans of Tohoshinki or KARA can be called Jpop fans too, right? And I'm a Kpop fan too :(
I don't want to debate on that, I was just pointing out that I haven't seen any comment positive about Jpop ( I don't mean Jrock) so far and you say that you know a lot about Jpop..So you should know all the positive things too..

just want to say that the J-pop music market is 2nd place all over the world, meanwhile K-pop is 24th, so stop asking stupid question like why J-pop artists don't debut or act in Korea, cause the Korean music market is a lot smaller than their own.
In addition, listen to utada hikaru, ayumi hamasaki, ALAN, rimi natsukawa if you think J-pop is childish ( don't think you know enough of J-pop while you only listen to the J-idol music )

Totally agree! Many people here in JPA claiming that JPop is "all childish and doesn't change since the 90s" should read your comment! They would learn a lot ;D
Thank you for saying this! ^^

I think its perfectly fine that people express their opinion since this is about music, but when you start to criticize on how people look, that is just really disrespectful. -__-
This forum topic isn't about how people look, it is about music.

    K-pop and J-pop are both awesome. :)

    swag checkk~~

I've always loved Jpop and Always will. I recently started listening to Kpop and I do like a alot of songs, but I've also noticed that Kpop artist are freaking everywhere! I was kind of worried and wondering what was happening to Jpop. I can find more Kpop albums in the US than I can with Jpop. I think it's kind of unfair (always have) that Japan doesn't really sell their music here.

    Music is my life

kpop groups are pushing the boundaries in japan and i think that scares them.jpop hasnt changed at all since the 1990's, but kpop is continually changing. i dont see why japan have to protest over this, i mean, they r the ones that like the music... they the ones buying the albums and going to the concerts. i dont see why they could be so harsh.

kicked for flooding?! It was just starting to take off tho :(
