'm glad. Although I'm not sure if you'd call us best friends. We don't hang that much out of school.
My best friend I met her in grade school in the third grade. We lost touch of each other, but then found each other again. 
I met my best friend in middle school. We technically knew each other in 6th grade, but didn't actually become friends till 8th.
We both were trying to break our arms in the playground to avoid homework in elementary school xD Ah~ good times. Even if we don't go to the same school, we ended up with the same interests and he has more manga than I do, so I go read off of his (> <)
my best friend lived next door to my grandmas and when no one was able to take care of me they put me and her together one day and we actually hit it off!! and we are still friends for like 18 yrs now lol

Well...i met my best friend at school when i was in yr 8 during english! She just moved to my school from another school and she seemed nice so i talked to her first and asked her to sit with me in my english class she did and we started talking and then from then on we have always been so close! we never fight and we never will! there is no need to get angry at each other so it is a good thing!
In our 4th year high school, we were in the same class and we both read mangas, so we started to exchange some and bit by bit we became friends and now we are best friends of course my interest in mangas and Jpop and Japan kept growing, while hers stayed by only mangas and now she laughs a bit with me, but she's the best friend I can imagine. She is always there when I need her and we completely understand each other Hope I'll never lose her!!
