The only Japanese Idol I've seen in person and up close is Kanon Wakeshima at Otakon 2009 but I unfortunately couldn't get her autograph. Wait, I've also had the Manga-ka Maki Murakami autograph one of my Gravitation Manga at Otakon 07 but I don't know if you met that kind of idol or just music idols...

I have an uncle that has this muscular Buddha statue in his house. He says it is from Japan

i got to meet the Jrock band, FLOW! they are my super face Jpop idol.
miyavi, beni, SOPHIA, Heidi, Sadie, Boom boom satellites, kanon wakeshima, kanon (an cafe), Uchu sentai noiz, D, morning musume, Xjapan, etc etc... and some anime illustrators too.... i have pics to prove.
nope.. but i wish i will meet them someday
