As I am really new to this forum, I would like to know you guys a bit better, to know who I am posting with.
So here's my idea:
Pick a random person that has posted a question in this topic and ask him/her a random question about him/her. This could be hobbies, hair color, what car they drive or what bike they own. Just ask for a fact that the person being asked is willing to answer. So please prevent asking any intrusive questions that someone might not want to answer...
If the asker thinks it is a proper question like: "What is your age?" and you don't want to answer, please say so and make up a new question to keep this topic rolling.
Remember just one question and not a question that asks several facts like: "What car do you drive and what's the name of your dog and... etc."
As this topic has had no posts yet, I would like the first one to post to answer the following question: "What kind of pets do you have?"

Oh yeah..reguarding your Question....Apollo doesn't have any pets...Unless if my younger sibling counts...Then yes I happen to have a pet that I can't lose! -.-
The Japanese culture,
It is filled with respect and because of that I would like to work there. My girlfriend taught me the ways of Shintoism and has convinced me. Shintoism is completely about the respect for nature, your family and for self-reflection. Judgement is out of the question.
Hope to get this topic rolling but it's difficult with not many people joining. So here's your question:
Do you love the god Apollo?
I'd have to say my favorite would have to be that Japanese Culture as well. But I will have to look into Shintoism it sounds like something that I can identify very well with.
And to answer your question.
Yes, I have complete love and Trust in God...Without him I would be half the person I am.(If one at all, honestly)

Yes and no.
I've gained most of knowledge of Japanese because of the internet. I have gained a lot of wisdom on the culture to get along with the Japanese, especially to prevent any mistakes and insulting them.

There is a lot of things made up on the internet. My Shinto-master helped me off the idea that there are any gods in Shintoism, it's just not true. Also modern students often hand in work and put it on my desk. But at the look of their face you can see they used the internet to get off of their homework quickly. You check their papers and it's pure copying.
Next question: I keep forgetting that

As for my religion I'm a devout Christian.
Though I have chosen to drop any denomination for I feel that there is no real need for them in a religion where God is only one God and the Word is the same each way you go.

Well both
Children have to learn more than their parents do, so children get more intelligent than ever. Learning is stimulated in all kinds of ways and after all kinds of research.
However, modern parents that I have experienced don't educate their children properly in my eyes. Of course there are a lot of good parents, but I have noticed that my profession is no longer working together with parents but more of trying to convince them we do our work properly.
Parents threaten teachers more often when their children have been punished. In my days ( even though my young age) I would get even more punishment from my parents when I was a bad boy
Children are released from their parent's grip too soon. They can derail and are financially dependant from other sources than themselves. Two words: Spoiled and Spoilt

But I have already applied the removing of shoes when entering a household. But besides that I would enjoy having that full family respect aspect included..Also the use of Family names before your own.
