The looks differ from pure white through glittery gold to neon colors, and the album covers are filled with wild animals and stylistic patterns.
The band's uniqueness lies in their prior experience and pure talent, and the singer Ryuuji has a very distinctive voice. The band could be compared to the popular oshare kei band An Cafe, albeit Zoro takes their music to a slightly more bizarre direction.
Zoro was founded in January 2007 on the ashes of Soroban, to which singer Ryuuji, bassist Tatsuhi and drummer Yuuya (all ex-Primrose) belonged. Guitarist Taizo (ex-Mouse) joined from outside the band.
Their first performance was at Liquidroom Ebisu on March 5th, and at first the band lacked a drummer. Amidst touring, the song 1888 was published in April on the V.A. album Hevn Ura Kaizoku Ban 004. 1888 was surprisingly different from the music of Soroban, and the poppish song caused some stir among fans. Still, Zoro received a good amount of dedicated followers.
Fans made wild guesses about the drummer, and many wished Yuuya to return to his former band mates. In June the name of the new drummer saw daylight, and as many had thought, it was Yuuya. The band also announced the release of their first mini album, and in August the two different versions of APOLLO hit the record shops. The mini album was everything it was expected to be: a bundle of up-beat, original songs. The band toured actively throughout the year, and 2008 was no different. Zoro’s first oneman was at Ikebukuro Cyber on February 2nd, and it was sold out. Soon after that, exactly one year after their first performance, the maxi single Lost Technology was published. The CD continued their success story with wild tunes and colorful style. The band kept touring, and by the end of the spring the release of a full length album was announced.
The 20th of August was the release day for COSMO -Stainless Music-, that came with the band's first PV for the song KITSUNE. Naturally, the video was a riotous one. In addition to making music, the members have also modeled for brands such as Putumayo and SEX POT ReVeNGe in magazines like V!nyl Syndicate and Gl!tter. 2008 continues with a lot of gigs - including onemans. Zoro is not simply a one hit wonder, and the band deserves a long and successful career.

Interview September 2009 - ゾロ ZORO
Today, zoro released their new album CORE.
and their New PV preview 閃光 (Senkou) is coming soon
You may remember the new single from ゾロ (Zoro) that we talked about here. The new single will be titled 『GOLD CARD』. Prices and tracks have remained the same.
They will also be having a oneman tour entitled 『CRASH』. Details are as follows:

I really like this group. I just acturally found them about...1 month ago and im hooked! right now my favorite song from them is Kitsune!

Well two members left Zoro and so now it's only Ryuji and Tatsuhi

They will not break up though. (Oh and that picture is their newest look lol.)

Oh thanks for posting. I actually really like their music--very upbeat. So sad members are leaving though. Glad they're not disbanding at least.
i actually didn't know all the members yet, i only really knew ryuuji and tatsuhi xD. so when the other members announced their departure it didn't affect me too much, i was just really hoping they wouldn't disband. specially after house of madpeak, i really liked it 0v0).

I looked into the band's discography in the past few days intermixing my tests and homework and crap, and god. They're..."pretty cute". Their music that is. It helps me work a lot faster while listening to them. o.o; it's...amazingly awesome.
I hope they don't disband into oblivion. o.o;

Someone knows if Taizo and Yuuya,the ex-members, are safe from the earthquakes and tsunamis? I'm searching for them like crazy, but I can't locate them...

They are most certainly not missing. They have probably just not updated their blogs or something. I'm sure that the members of zoro would have written about it if they couldn't find them. Calm down. They were probably in Tokyo, and most people in Tokyo are okay.
i dont think any of them are, i guess someone would give out information about it if they was
i think its so sad that taizo and yuuya was leaving the band,but im happy that ryuuji and tatsu still are. hopefully they will find some new members soon.

i read that too, and that was really hurting in my heart. zoro really means alot to the fans
but they back nok, so hope he/she who wrote it have heard the great news and are happy now
yeah, im agree...they wrote the same about tatsu. cant belive how anyone can think something like that when they both are so pretty
i will guess most people have herd the good...sorry i meant AWSOME news about zoro`s comeback! only tatsu and ryuuji of course, but they are both awsome and will do it great! looking for to both see and hear their new stuff
