The group faced controversy in December following the similarities of the group's name to Brown Eyed Girls's Jea. The group later changed the pronunciation of the name to avoid implications.
Releasing teasers beforehand, the group debuted with their EP, Nativity under the name ZE:A, on 7 January 2010. Immediately they garnered attention, reaching #1 on both the Album Chart and Artist Chart on Daum on their debut day. They planned to have a comeback on March 25, 2010.
The group made a comeback in April with the release of their second mini album, Leap for Detonation. Produced by Brave Brothers, title song 'All Day Long' is melodramatic and featured a major change in style. The group's third single, "Level Up", was released on July 9, 2010.
The group have started off their asia promotion tour starting with Thailand at the end of July 2010. Future showcases and promotional events will occur in Taiwan, the Philippines, Singapore and more in this tour.
The group will come out with a full album in October 2010.
After about a year of inactivity, a comeback was scheduled on June 21st, 2012. But, due to Jun Young's ankle injury, Star Empire postponed this date. They eventally made a combeback with their 2nd full album "spectacular" on July 4th, 2012, even though Jun Young hadn't completely recovered yet. close

So, to start with, I would say that there are too many members :RBfrown: Seriously, how can someone equally show his tallent, when there are so many guys in your band?
Their concept is not bad, the MV was similiar to MBLAQ and SuperJuniorM somewhat...
But, i think, I'd prefer F.cuz.. Since I liked the song Jiggy a bit, only a bit more than Mazeltov... :RBundecided: But maybe they just chose the bad song for debut, since if they released the MV for Love Coach, I would have liked it much more :RBblush: But overall, the guys seem OK and I wish them the best :RBhalo:

I actually find them interesting..Though their new song was kinda confusing. I didn't get the point of the lyrics at all.
I guess you are right At least there is a wide choice for fans to choose their favourite.. I just think it would be unfair, if 1 or 2 guys got more populat than others. I hope everyone of them are going to have the same number of fans :RBhalo:

Mazel tov - literally translates to "good luck" the phrase is not used in the way that the expression "good luck" is used in English. It rather means "good luck has occurred" The phrase "mazel tov!" parallels the use of the phrase "congratulations!" and conveys roughly that "I am pleased this good thing has happened to you!".

ZE:A Debut Showcase
Today, Jan 13,2010 the new 9 member boy group ZE: A (Children of the Empire) finally throwed their debut showcase!
The showcase takes place in a club located in KangNam-gu, Cheongdam-dong,Seoul and starts at 3 pm onwards with their senior Park JungAh and Seo InYoung conducting the event. The boys started their debut showcase by performing Michael Jackson’s Billie Jean. Then ZE:A performed their single from their mini album Nativity like : ‘Love Coach’, ‘New Star’ and title single ‘Mazeltov’ to the attendees including their 150 fans at the showcase.
It is said that ZE:A members had shown a nice choreography and brilliant vocal performances in the showcase.
ZE:A,”We finally make this debut. We’re really happy and we’ll do our best and worked hard to show our best appearance. We hope to be the best singer in the Republic of Korea. ZE:A will worked hard from now on”, they said.
Park JungAh and Seo InYoung also expressed their feelings towards the group,” We see them growing, we see them since their trainee days and we think these boys will do great and we do look forward to see more from them. We’re proud to see that these boys are growing more and showed us a beautiful appearance,” they said.
In addition, the group will do their promotion in various music shows starting this weekend by performing in KBS Music Bank (Jan 15), MBC Music Core (Jan 16) and SBS Inki Gayo (Jan 17).
