Yuya Matsushita is a Japanese R&B and Hip Hop singer and performer. He is signed under Epic Records. His debut single "foolish foolish" was released on November 26, 2008.

Born in Kobe on May 24, 1990, Yuya Matsushita was raised by his mother and grandmother. As a sixth grader in 2002, Matsushita decided to pursue a career in music, enrolling in Caless Vocal & Dance School. Around 9th grade, despite clashing with his mother regarding his future plans, a visit to New York City strengthened his determination to become an artist. He met with producer Jin Nakamura who presented him with the song "foolish foolish". The filming for the single also took place in New York, after being signed to Epic Records.
In 2009, Matsushita debuted as an actor with the role of Iwatsu Ataru in the movie Kanashii Boyfriend. He also performed an insert song of the movie, "Mr. "Broken Heart"" which was coupled with his debut single "foolish foolish". Matsushita also had his stage debut as Sebastian Michaelis in the Kuroshitsuji Musical. His single, Trust Me was used as the first ED (ending theme) in the Durarara anime, and peaked at 10 in the weekly Oricon charts.
In 2010, Matsushita's single "Bird" was used as the ending theme for the Second Season of the Kuroshitsuji anime. close

i was waiting for ceemvee to actually make it since she's like the boss for everything yuya in JPA. XD
anyways, yuya is an awesome singer. i actually found out about him through kuroshitsuji and i pretty much admire his voice.
Plus additional credit to the dances he does in his vids.
not much to say, brilliant singer, awesome dancer.

i just started to listen to his songs and i think that he is really good and cool!!!!!
only heard about him a couple of days ago, but I really like his album. And love the Trust Me music video. (I guess I really like dancing/dancers in general)

I just discovered him recently (thanks to jpopasia) and am currently OBSESSED with "Naturally". Am looking forward to hearing more from him in the future :-)
I totally fell in love with Yuya since I got to know him through Kuroshitsuji. Ever since then, I always look out for his new songs and projects. He's so great and adorable in Quartet. Even my friends, who are non-fans, says he's got good acting performance.

anyway...hmm... yuya matsushita.... i got addicted listening to trust me. now, i'm really obssesed over the guy. i have been checking out his songs and so far, i'm liking Honesty and kiss Me.

just found out about him through his appearance with flow at fanime con this year...
i've heard his name and seen his face around before but i always thought he was an actor cuz he's so PRETTY
but i was surprised to know that he has an AMAZING voice and dance skills~~
he's now one of my fav japanese artists~~
