There was a little conflict recently between Tohoshinki fans and Matsuura Masato the president of Avex, on twitter.
The conflict started when fans asked him about Tohoshinki. Matsuura tweeted, “Wanting them to get back together is my wish, but not getting back together is their decision.”
Fans were upset by his tweet and said to him, “Don’t you know how many fans would get hurt by words like this?“, “Why don’t you stop tweeting?“, “Stop saying stuff as if you know everything.”
Matsuura tweeted back to the fans again, “Then don’t ask me anything, and don’t believe my words“, “You want me to lie about that?”
Then people who are not Tohoshinki fans tweeted to him, “You are being too immature“, “You should know how effective your words are to fans.”
The twitter exchange became over heated, and Ayumi Hamasaki tweeted on behalf of Matsuura to the Tohoshinki fans.
“Please stop pushing all your anger and sadness only on Masa(Matsuura). Because of his position, he had to know something he didn’t even want to know. Isn’t Masa the same as you (fans)? Who didn’t give up, even after going through all that pain?”.
[NEWS] 100702 SMTOWN Live 10 to go on world tour

We reported yesterday that SMTOWN Live 10 was going to happen this August in Seoul and the official word has finally been released today, it will indeed go on a world tour!
After the first stop in Seoul on August 21st, SM Entertainment will bring its concert extravaganza to cities like Hongkou Stadium in Shanghai (China) on September 4th, Staples Center in Los Angeles (America) on September 11th and Tokyo (Japan) whose details will be revealed later.
This is not the first time that SM Entertainment is bringing their concert outside of Korea as they had done so in 2008 to cities like Bangkok and Shanghai. But this will be the first time that they are heading out of Asia although it’s just Los Angeles.
The list of performers include KangTa, BoA, U-Know, Max, Super Junior, SNSD, SHINee, f(x), Trax and all SMTown artists and will last approximately 5 hours.
Tickets for the Seoul stop will start on July 15th through online shopping website, GMarket Korea and is expected to be sold out in mere seconds.
[TRANS] Rising Star Yunho, A High Motivation to Perform in Japanese Drama
During the first week release, “No Limit ~ Heading to The Ground~” DVD-BOX I and II recorded 14,000 copies sales and respectively hold the 1st and 2nd position in ORICON drama ranking, showing a tremendous popularity of this Korean drama. In order to celebrate this achievement, an event called Premium Fan Event was held at Tokyo International Forum in Yurakucho, Tokyo. The male lead Yunho (TVXQ) appeared at the event, expressed his grateful to more than 10,000 fans who attended.
‘No Limit’ is a drama about a talented yet trouble maker soccer player Cha Bong Gun (Yunho), from his team disbandment to traffic accidents, he met with his agent and has a love affair with her, a kind of comedy romantic drama about a fresh young man struggling for his dream.
As ‘soccer’ was the main theme of the drama, when he was asked whether he’s interested with World Cup which is currently being held, “I watch every game! There are so many broadcasts at night, therefore I always wake up late in the following days (laughs)” revealing that his likeness to soccer.
He also added, “I’m glad that overall, Asia is getting stronger. For Japanese player, I think Honda Keisuke was really cool. He was decisive in the Denmark game, and his free-kick was brilliant.” a comment about one Japanese soccer player was said.
Regarding his first work in TV drama, he was asked to give his point of attention when acting, “When I’m on stage as an artist, people will see my image as strong and tough, however this time (as an actor) I’m portraying a gentle and friendly image. This is a new side of myself, I’m glad that all of you are able to see that,” told the unique perspective of him on acting.
Following his first leading role in the drama, in Korea, Yunho is already set to act in his first musical work, ‘Goong’ in which he’s been decided to be the leading role as well. Therefore Yunho can not be seen only as a singer now, as he already makes his efforts to work as an actor. Probably the day when he will be seen in Japanese movies and dramas won’t be too far away.
Yunho himself stated, “If there’s a chance, I want to make work appearance in Japan. I love some former Japanese dramas and movies, I watched a lot of them. While “MR. BRAIN”, “DEATH NOTE” (06) are my favorite.” revealing his willingness. In addition to that, “Japanese anime is also great. In fact, I love the releases from STUDIO GHIBLI. I’m looking forward to ‘Karigurashi no Arrietti’ very much.” giving an unexpected review.

Even though the group’s activities have been suspended, Tohoshinki’s potential is still amazing.
On the 30th of last month, Tohoshinki’s new albums ” Single B-Side Collection” and “Single A-Side Collection” respectively achieved #1 and #2 on the Oricon charts the day they were officially released.
The next day on July 1, “Single A-Side Collection” claimed #1 and “Single B-Side Collection” held #2 position, both gaining immense popularity.
Although the albums aren’t regular records, they still include all of Tohoshinki’s singles that were released in Japan, which increases the value as a collectible and causes a massive inclination of sales.
Tohoshinki’s total album sales for the top half of the year holds third place overall.
Recently, the 3 Tohoshinki members Xiah Junsu, Hero Jejung, and Micky Yuchun, that are involved in a lawsuit over their contract with SM Entertainment, are recording in America with Asia as their main target. Respectively, U-Know Yunho and Max Changmin are currently involved in the musical “Goong” and the television drama “Paradise Meadow”.

TVXQ Yunho whose group is currently in activity suspension declared, “I want to show all fans the new Yunho”.
DVD-BOX of ‘No Limit~Heading to The Ground’ which is the first Korean starring drama of inactive TVXQ leader Yunho was just released. During the interview, Yunho shared experiences about his first challenge as an actor, story behind the scenes, and also spoke about future activities.
The drama is about a protagonist named Cha Bong Gun who is a talented yet trouble maker soccer player, the whole story tells about his hard struggle both in love and soccer, portraying the fresh/young figure of the character.
‘No Limit~Heading to The Ground’ was already broadcast in Korea last year, the fact that it was Yunho’s first acting attempt in drama was garnering a lot of interest at that time. There are many interesting scenes in this drama, other than the definitely soccer scenes, there were also scenes such as diving into water, fire scenes, and more.
Yunho has made it to be a huge artist in music area, however as for drama, it would be his first time. “On stage, I show everyone a tough and strong image, however as an actor in this drama, I have to show a soft and gentle image of Yunho, therefore (through this drama), I’m able to show all of you the new side of me.” he said with confident look on him. He then continued, “Even in the future, I feel the challenge to show you even more various sides of Yunho.” he made a firm promise. Seems that Yunho will keep challenging the chance to be an actor.
As Yunho looked back to what happened during the filming, “For the filming, even between one schedule to another, I still practiced soccer. It was hard, but I feel matured through this experience.” he smiled. Yunho also said that due to his role as a soccer player, he slowly began to actually liking the sport as well, just like how he already favorites other sports such as snowboarding and basketball. During the interview, Yunho answered each question politely. Being a sincere and friendly character Yunho is, tells all the reasons of why he got all the popularity in Japan since the first time.
When he was asked about the actor he concerned the most, “For actor, it’s Takeshi Kaneshiro. He has own uniqueness,” he replied. While name as Hayao Miyazaki was mentioned as his favorite Japanese movie maker.
For his first musical stage ‘Goong’ (role as Prince Lee Shin), Yunho revealed that they already started practicing. “Because I like writing, I also have a dream that one day I’ll write my own script.” saying his future wish.
The future activity range of Yunho seems to be infinite. “Even during the painful times, I’ll try to be positive and believe in myself. From now on, I’m going to work even harder, so that I’m able to show all the fans the new Yunho!” he said with bright eyes. He committed himself, “Absolutely not wanting any regrets!” he said. Collecting Signatures, requesting Changmin to hold a fan meeting in Japan
From before, there were requests raised in this blog for Changmin to hold a fan meeting in Japan.
The number of times Changmin came to Japan has decreased even from before Tohoshinki’s activities has been suspended.
He has come here for only magazine coverages and participating in Chanel’s show.
We are very lonely.
I keep remembering Changmin, who was playful with Junsu and Jaejoong.
Changmin, who was laughing together with Yoochun and Junsu, saying "Tai tai".
Changmin, whom I saw in the movie theater the other day. (T/N: The movie "TOHOSHINKI THE LIVE" is now on screen in the theathers)
Changmin, who has grown up, from a boy to a young man.
Of course, we are looking forward to meeting Changmin in the drama^^
But, that is Changmin in the TV.
When I try to write about Changmin,
I remember Changmin in a-nation 2009, and tears roll down my cheek.
Oh, I am crying already (lol)
Changmin, who was struggling, at a loss of words, dropping the phrases of the songs,
trying to ignore the hyeong’ voices, looking a little bit angry, just like a angry little boy.
Maybe he was thinking that the a-nation should be the last stage for the 5 members together.
I went to a-nation in delightful tears that I could meet the 5 members,
and came back crying, seeing Changmin, the 5 members, and hearing Yunho’s and Junsu’s shouts “I love Bigeast”.
Thinking back, I was always in tears in 2009.
When will the drama be on-aired?
There seems to be some schedules, but afterwards, what will happen?
What will become of their contract with the Japanese management company?
We do not know anything.
It is too painful to wait, knowing nothing.
But, but, we want to meet you, meet you.
There are so many fans here that want to meet you, and waiting for you.
There are so many here in Japan.
So, let’s convey our feelings to Changmin!
There is no concrete confirmation that Changmin can hold a fan meeting in Japan by collecting the signatures.

Musical ‘Goong’, a musical work about unique fantasy setting of 2010 Republic of Korea constitutional monarchy system, unveiled its official poster teaser today on the 5th before the first opening ticket sale is opened on July 8th.
When U-Know Yunho arrived at the studio on the photographing day before the shooting started, he politely greeted every single staffs, also throughout the filming he was so concentrated and sincere as he often checked the photographing results. Only with his presence, he made his surroundings warm. “There are many medals making the Crown Prince outfit heavy. I would like to give all these medals to the staffs who have been having a hard time.” he said in his prince-like wit, lead the whole set in pleasant atmosphere.
In the last press conference of Musical ‘Goong’, more than 300 local and foreign reporters attended, giving a heated coverage and wide enough spotlight on the musical work. The musical’s teaser website which was also opened since last month, attracted so many local and foreign netizens that made the website server temporarily down. 'Goong', the comic book which gained great popularity when it was recreated into a drama in 2006, is being reborn as a musical. Garnering great attention for casting TVXQ's U-Know Yunho as its lead role, 'Musical Goong' has released its poster a couple of days before ticketing begins on the 8th.
The contrasting image in the poster that was released forewarns the ordeals that are to come for troublesome high schooler Shin Chae Kyung and 'flower boy' prince Lee Shin. U-Know Yunho, Kim Dong Ho and Run, who were all cast as Prince Lee Shin, looked charismatic in suits, while Shin Ui Jeong and Gwak Sun Young, who will play Shin Chae Kyung, wear fusion hanbok with big smiles.
When the photos for the posters were taken, U-Know Yunho showed how well mannered and polite he was when he greeted every single staff member on location. During the photoshoot, he was said to have a sincere and concentrated attitude as he continuously check the drafts for the posters. Also, he livened up the atmosphere with his prince-like wit and relaxed composure as he said, "The costume is heavy because of all the medals. I want to give these medals to our staff, who are working so hard."

On 26 June, Tohoshinki’s Jung Yunho was present at the Tokyo International Forum Hall as an actor, for his debut starring role in the drama “No Limit ~Heading to the ground~”, and it’s DVD release event. The event included Yunho’s personal selection of “My best scenes TOP 3” in the drama. He revealed that during the scene where he sank to the river bed, he actually stayed in under water for 2 minute, drinking a lot of water, and eventually fainted. He said, “I just resigned myself to drinking the water, and tried my best to shoot the scene,” explaining his feelings during that time, and the audience clapped warmly when he said this.
This drama is about soccer player Cha Bong Goon (Yunho) who aims to be a world class player, but is faced with problems such as his team breaking up, and struggles as he grows and how love blossoms among the ones around him. It is a youth love comedy drama. Two versions of the DVD Box set “No Limit ~Heading to the Ground~ Complete Series DVD BOX 1” and “~DVD BOX 2.” They sold over 14,000 copies within the first week, taking both first and second position on the Oricon Chart Ranking in the Drama category.
Incidentally, this event comes at a time where both Japan and Korea have qualified for the knockout rounds in the World Cup. Yunho, who usually plays the position of goalkeeper when he plays soccer in private, declared about the two countries, “With this fighting spirit, I think and hope that we can get into the final 4!” His favourite soccer player is Keisuke Honda, the instrumental playmaker who helped determine Japan’s victory over Denmark. “ His shooting and kicks are very good”, he said, complimenting Japan’s ace player.
Assessing his debut acting performance, Yunho said “For this show, I had to study how soccer players walk, and became one once I put on the jersey.” Still, “I’m not 100% satisfied with my first challenge in acting, but through this drama, I have matured and grown,” he responded. “This drama is a learning experience, and I want to become stronger and work harder for the future”, he said, showing enthusiasm for similar activities in the future.
Also present at the event was the female lead, popular Korean actress (Go) Ara. With a talk show, card quiz and other activities, the 5000 fans that purchased the limited edition DVD and attended this event was full of smiles from the start till the end.

Yunho talked about hardship he faced during filming for his series drama for the first time.
TVXQ's Jung Yunho attended 'No Limit~ HTTG' DVD release Premium Event which he cast as main lead in Tokyo International Forum Hall on 26th.
In the event, Yunho revealed 'My Best Scene TOP3' which were selected by him.
In the scene which he sank into the river, because he couldn't stand, so in reality he was in the water for 2 minutes, and almost drowned.
'I would have drank a lot more water if I gave up (at that time), thinking of this, hence, I want to film even harder.' When Yunho said this, all the audience in the venue bestowed him with loud applause.

Yunho who challenges drama series for the first time, mentioned during his shooting 'In order to carry out this character well, I need to consider even the way of walking, I want to be like a real soccer player.' Later on he said, 'I am not 100% satisfied with my first time challenge. Through acting this time, I have grown a lot.' 'I gained a lot of experiences through acting this time, I want to continue my efforts to reach my target.'

The unit that has paused all activities so far, Korea’s Tohoshinki members Junsu (23) Jejung (24) and Yuchun (24) formed a new unit and performed a total of 4 concerts in Tokyo Dome and Osaka Dome, to an estimated total crowd of 200,000 people. Before the final encore, Jejung said, “ Finally,(today) I told myself that I wouldn’t cry.” as he resisted the tears. However, due to the overwhelming emotions, the three eventually cried on stage. As their next activity, they will be performing at “a-nation” this summer. Due to new songs performed at the Live concerts, a possible new CD is being considered.
The new unit’s Live was full of twist and turns. Representing the 3 members that couldn’t stop crying on the first day at Osaka Dome, Jejung said at the final talk, “No matter what pain and sadness we’ve been through, we’ve endured all the emotions and tears. But in front of everyone here (today) I thought that I shouldn’t cry… I want to smile properly. To see everyone enjoying themselves, I think it’s better if we show you the happy side of ourselves,” However, after the encore, they couldn’t stop the tears from falling, and all 3 members were crying as they left the stage.
The waiting fans speculate that the production of “THANKSGIVING LIVE IN DOME” cost about 1.2 Billion Yen for this “Thanksgiving Day. ” Looking at the 450-inch big screen, the 3 members revealed Yuchun’s lines from his first key drama role, saying “I like…you.” This caused the fans to swoon and cheer furiously. From the 3 members’ interactions and hugs, you could feel the deep bond between them.
During the live, 4 new songs from the trio were revealed, and fans are hoping for a CD release. Entertainment agency SM Entertainment and Congressman Jo Moon Hwan of the Grand National Party have joined hands to protect celebrities’ rights and interests.
On the 6th at 9am KST, a ‘Proclamation Ceremony for the Establishment of a Developing Contract Relationship in the Entertainment Industry’ was held in Room 128 in the National Assembly Congressional Hall. This ceremony was attended by Congressman Jo Moon Hwan (State Affairs Committee), SM CEO Kim Young Min, and Girls Generation in order to protect the rights and interests of celebrities as well as to ensure that a mutual trust exists between entertainment agencies and celebrities.
This proclamation ceremony was attended by Congressman Jo Moon Hwan, SM Entertainment and Girls Generation in the hopes of creating a sound environment to create and maintain an expanding contract relationship in the entertainment industry.
Congressman Jo Moon Hwan has been criticizing the contract relationships between celebrities and entertainment agencies since the last parliamentary inspection of the administration till now, and through rigorous inspections of small and large entertainment agencies, demanded that unlawful clauses, such as those which violate personal privacy, be removed.
SM stated, “Over the past months, SM has been holding numerous discussions with Congressman Jo Moon Hwan to protect the rights and interests of celebrities as well as aid in the development of the entertainment industry,” and “A conclusion was made that SM has developed a contract that reflects the reality of the entertainment industry and focuses on the protection of the celebrities’ rights and interest, and this contract has been implemented with SM’s celebrities and trainees.”
SM and Congressman Jo Moon Hwan will continue to converse on the matters of contract relationships between celebrities and entertainment agencies in the future.
