[TRANS] 110105 TVXQ-Big Bang-MBLAQ: Fierce Competition Among Male Groups In New Year
In the start of the new year of 2011, the competition between male idol groups is already heating up.
While MBLAQ, leading the new generation of male groups like INFINTE, Teen Top and more, is releasing their new album, the original top idol groups like TVXQ and Big Bang are releasing their new albums at the same time. This is also an indication that the music industry, which has been a “woman’s world” in recent years, will be blown away by the male groups.
On the 5th, TVXQ released their title track “Why (Keep Your Head Down)” from their special album and the Big Bang sub-unit GD&TOP released 3 title tracks – “High High”, “Oh Yeah” and “Knock Out” – attracting a lot of popularity. A Song Without a Name PART 1
JYJ delivers their most controversial song from their music essay rightfully titled “Untitled (Part 1)” which was released today. Netizens have been conversing about the meanings of the lyrics and how “diary-like” it seems. Written by Park Yoochun, this 8-minute song expresses the unspoken words of the members to his fans and to those mentioned in the song.

After a probation period of a few months in 2003, we, the team members, finished our first task with ease

But the statement of accounts we received said we were at a deficit
I thought I had seen the figures wrong so I checked again
Everything was listed under expenses
Damn it, how could all that money have gone towards paying expenses.
What kind of expenses were there to make that much money vanish?
I couldn't believe my eyes so I asked them to show me the detailed statement of accounts that I had never seen before.
They told me they would show it to me, but I ended up never seeing those few sheets of paper as all I did was work.
The amount of questions I had grew the more time passed.
The headaches grew the more our team members got together and thought about it.
If I was to say just one last thing
Are the things we do for the company
Really and truly things that are for the company?
Sure, let's say they were. We, the kind souls, will let that one slide.
We will forget it, for the company, and for us, who have been together for so many years.
But that isn't right, those aren't things you should be saying to us.

When you called, all you did was talk about our team members behind each other's back, it was so hard to trust you.
This is exactly like what our seniors said. Did you want to keep the ones who'd still willingly make money for you?

I can't because I feel so frustrated at the thought that someone will torment us more when this song is released.

(NEWS) JYJ’s reality TV show, ‘JYJ’s Real 24′, to air in February
The boys of JYJ are known to be quite private about their personal life, so it comes as a shock to hear that they’ve agreed to star in a new reality show called, “JYJ’s Real 24“.
Cable channel QTV revealed, “The reality program ‘JYJ’s Real 24′ is scheduled to air sometime in mid-February. Members Park Yoochun, Kim Jaejoong, and Kim Junsu will show their every move.”
‘JYJ’s Real 24′ will follow the boys as they participate in CF filmings, musicals, and all sorts of other activities. In addition, their secret house will also be shown.
Producer Lee Moon Hyuk from QTV expressed, ‘Lately, JYJ’s mysterious private life has gotten the interest of fans, which has amplified the attention for this program. Even though it was a little awkward for JYJ at first, they quickly adapted to the cameras and had fun during filming.‘

[Trans] 110210 JYJ Takes 4 Spots In The Top 20 Charts For 2010 Without Any Broadcasting Activities
The group JYJ (Jaejoong, Yoochun, Junsu) gained attention as they took up 4 of the Top 20 spots on the Gaon Chart Total Album Sales for 2010.
JYJ’s Worldwide Album “The Beginning” recorded sales of 99,903 and took 8th place, with “The Beginning (New Limited Edition)” and “Luxury Edition” recording sales of 98,311 and 92,649 at 10th and 11th place respectively.
Also, the OST for KBS 2TV’s Drama “Sungkyunkwan Scandal” which starred Park Yoochun, sold 76,951 copies, and was at the 13th placing. It was the only OST that made it on the chart.
For JYJ, who is embroiled in a lawsuit with former management company SM Entertainment, who have been restricted from participating in music show recordings and other broadcasting activities, these are their results and rankings. This is the difference between them and other artists. And this also shows the existence of JYJ’s strong fanbase and star power.
On another note, “The Beginning” which saw contributions by the world-famous artist Kanye West, as well as the famous producer who worked with Michael Jackson, Rodney Jerkins, has garnered attention not only from the fans but also from people in the recording industry, even before sales had started. It was also ranked 5th in the American Billboard Chart for Readers’ favourite albums of 2010.

(NEWS) 110301 JYJ’s Real 24 ends up being cancelled
The reality program showing JYJ’s everyday lives has been canceled.
On March 1st, CJES Entertainment, JYJ’s agency, wrote a post in its homepage titled “Notice on the cancellation of QTV’s program.” CJES wrote, “Real TV, a program intended to show JYJ’s real life and bridge the gap between JYJ and fans, has been cancelled.”
<JYJ’s Real 24> was scheduled to air in February, but had been postponed until today, when QTV finally notified CJES that QTV would not be airing the program. Because no specifics have been revealed about the reasons behind the cancellation, people are becoming more and more curious.
CJES stated, “We apologize to fans that were looking forward to JYJ’s Real TV after QTV distributed press release and PR materials. QTV’s footage of JYJ will be handed over to C-Jes Entertainment, and we will do our very best to deliver the footage to fans as early as possible.”

(NEWS) QTV rep: “There’s no external pressure to the cancellation of JYJ’s QTV show”
QTV spoke about the reasons behind canceling JYJ’s Real 24, a reality program showing JYJ’s everyday lives, and rumors of being pressured.
During a phone interview, QTV revealed, “JYJ’s reality program was canceled because it didn’t fit with our airing schedule. We tried to adjust it to fit our air time and publication rights, but in April and May, QTV will largely only air programs which we produced ourselves.
Furthermore, on the question about the scheduled air date of JYJ’s reality program, they answered “we never even planned an air date. We had bought the publication rights to the reality program and thus had planned on airing it, but it was never our own production.”
Furthermore, on the rumors of being pressured from external sources, “there has already been a court decision on that topic and this has nothing to do with the external pressure rumors.”

JJ: I can feel it. Very much. They fly from Japan to the venues or events. A lot of fans came to Junsu’s musical, and also to Yoochun’s drama film site. They are so passionate on both Twitter and internet, that I can feel they are waiting for us…
JS: There was some moments when it was harder because of the fans’ love… It made us want to go, go to Japan, and meet with all fans. Also felt sorry too.
Q. How does it feel different with when you were active in Japan?
JS: (Thinking carefully) The feelings is not that different.Being active as a singer in Japan…(can’t read well)..eh..I really want to do my best. Like I did before, it feels like..starting it over again..
YC: I would just like to be able to work normally as before… we can’t right now because there are some little problems.. I want to be on a tour in Japan again too. Tour..and other things besides tour. I also want to have many, many chances to meet with the fans.
Q. You had concerts not only in Korea or Asia, but also in the U.S. What’s your plan now?
JJ: It’s not decided. We will be on a worldtour starting in April, and when it ends, that’ll be the start.
Q. Jaejoonssi, you’re the worldtour director, right?
JJ: Ah, yes! I think up the specific formation, or make the set list. The live we had in Seoul last year was the first time. The change in performance and songs’ order when the song was a bit (can’t read). I hope it goes well.

YC: Hmm..I don’t think much about it. I try it when I get a thought “let my try~”
Q. When do you feel happiest now?
YC: Everyday. I can go out with my friends or family. Now I have the time to do it. Because that became possible, I became more generous to myself(translator’s note: he means he became more relaxed)
JS: For me..well..I think there are different kinds of happiness, but I’m the happiest when I’m on the stage, singing. Now I have less chances to feel that kind of happiness…Including stages in Japan, I hope we could get more chances to sing on many stages…I’d like to feel the happiness coming from that.
Q. Last December 31st, you three sang “Found You” at KBS Acting Awards, where Yoochun was awarded the Rookies of the Year
YC: Yes. Shortly.
JS: I was nervous, since it was the first time we sang on TV last year^^
Q. How did you feel?
JS: It was kinda strange…of course I was happy. I was sad of myself, feeling ‘sad’ with this difficult, but single appearance. But I was glad to congratulate Yoochun. I wanted to think happy things only.
JJ: I think it was good in a way, making me think again performing on a stage is not something “normal” but “very very precious” to an artist. That meant very…much to the three of us. I could feel many things from it, so I thought maybe I’m a grownup than two years ago.. Because the things I thought was natural turned out to be not.
JS: (can’t read)..but you fans are supporting us…
