yea me too n everyone thinks im outa my mind... THEM: "What you dont listen to American music?!?!" Me: "uh NO i dont like any of it American bands suck." THEM: "but what about Linkn Park, My Chemical Romance, Slipnot... blah blah blah." ME: "yea i dont like any of them... same same same, nobody really stands out and most of em just care bout the fame n money its not about the MUSIC!!!"

idk i just LOVE Jrock and VK... i think they really put 110% into everything they do. Like Byou [ScReW] he thinks he dont sing as good as he should and says he will work harder to get better WTF he is AMAZING!!! 
and the VK bands i give them even more props for adding the visual to the music ppl can say what they want like "you just think they look HOTT!" and sh!t like that but i think its just an extension of the music another way to be expressive and artistic... i love seeing their new looks and how it pulls you into the mood of the music.

see, recently Mikey and Paige and some other lovely people have got me hooked on American rock again via Last.fm. and I like it. you might too, if you gave it a chance and actually wanted to like it, Missa! lol.
I mean...Falling in Reverse, Bullet for my Valentine, Dead by April, Asking Alexandria...they're all actually really great. they don't 'suck' (god I hate when you say bands 'suck' they don't suck, you just don't like them!) and I think they do in fact put hard work into their music.
of course I probably still prefer visual kei, but not because of the quality of the music.
I mean...try Raised by Wolves or I am Not a Vampire by Falling in Reverse. and actually give them a chance lol and seriously you'll see what I mean.
@squishy i only say a band "sucks" when ppl are telln me my bands suck... and i do try american music from time to time sorry but i havnt liked it since 2006. Yea some bands are OK but they arnt AMAZING they dont make me wanna ROCK n HEADBANG!!! American music just... idk doesnt do it for me anymore. Music has to hit you, it has to speak to you, move you... touch your soul thats what Jrock and VK do for me.

They also made me stop listening to a lot of American rock bands (current, actually, i still listen to 90's and older rock)
