Reita, born as Suzuki Akira (鈴木 亮 though there's discretion as to "Akira" can be "Ryo" but with the same kanji) on May 27th, 1981 in the Shounan district of Kanagawa, is the bassist of the GazettE.

Reita is known for presenting himself as a "bad-boy" type of guy (lots of cussing, derogatory comments, and occasional crude humor) but is ultimately good-natured and actually a very nice person. Though he always talks about girls and the like, he is really quite shy when poised to make a move, so to speak. On top of that, he's a pretty heavy smoker.
Reportedly, he is very good at knowing the situation by just a look (at the person in question or the overall situation). Also, he is known in the band for solving problems using brute force; most members are rather cautious around him during interviews and such. Even though he seems relatively quiet, Reita is actually the most talkative member of the band.
During live performances, he is known for his energy, spinning, and habit of tossing his bass into the air (and catching them 99% of the time). Off stage, he is reportedly very low-energy and not motivated.
Reita and Uruha have been friends for a very long time (since around middle school) and have been in the same bands before GazettE ever since they started down the path of music.
In around 2011, Reita finally reached his ultimate goal of buying his mother her own house. close

Yeah.. like the way he wears his pants really low or when screams at lives or the times when he's all up in the cameras backstage (xD) and that mysterious noseless stigma.. Hes really cute sometimes. :3
