Biography
Exist Trace (often typeset as exist†trace) is a Japanese rock band, consist only female members, from Tokyo, Japan, that initially formed in June 2003. The band has released three singles and one mini-album. Exist Trace has also appeared on two omnibus albums as well as one live DVD featuring several bands on the Shizuoka-based Sequence Records label. In 2008, they will go touring in Europe with Black:list. Tour dates in Paris, Berlin, Helsinki and Brussels have been confirmed so far.
Exist Trace's music can be described as melodic death metal and vocalist Jyou growlsand shouts (exhale) throughout many songs, which contributes to the dark undertone of many of the songs. Their guitar sound often features heavy distortion and technically virtuosic riffs and solos. Their sound is heavily focused on their bass and drumming, which helps define their musical style. The lyrics are mainly based on gothic themes, and their music style has resemblance to gothic metal. close
Exist Trace (often typeset as exist†trace) are a Japanese metal band of the visual kei style, and comprised entirely of female members. They're from Tokyo, Japan and initially formed in June 2003.
To date, the band has released three singles and one mini-album. Exist Trace has also appeared on two omnibus albums as well as one live DVD featuring several bands on the Sizuoka-based Sequence Records label. Exist Trace released a new EP on April 22, 2009, entitled Vanguard -of the muses.

my initial favorite was Liquid.. But then I saw Vangaurd a few months ago~

aaaaand they will also have a new release that is set to be released on October 21st! Its called Ambivalent Symphony and will include 6 new songs and it seems like 2 pvs. :rock:
hmmmmm i kinda like them but i'm not really a fan of screamo that much. i like Vanguard, though. i haven't listened to many of their songs yet, but i also like liquid. 
i think i am liking them more than Danger Gang XD

I don't like them.. Sorry, but I don't. Vocalist tries to sing like many of the visual kei boys sing; very low [low as in dark]. It doesn't work with a female voice, not for me at least. Then her growls/screams are okay, but I prefer male voaclists.
Though, the songs water, hai no yuki, end-less and JUDEA are okay. But nothing I prefer listening too. But now don't kill me, for this is only my opinion! (:

One of the best Visual band out there and its getting better and better each song that are coming out. And the coolest thing is that all are girls. :RBheart:

You may remember when we announced exist†trace is releasing a new mini-album here. Well, on October 16th they will be having a live event at Shimokitazawa Mosiac titled 『Meaning of Liberty』. Playing at the event will be exist†trace, Calmando Qual, TorN, function code, 功 (Kou) and more. Tickets will be 2300 yen in advance and 2800 yen the day of.

Tho evr since jyou started wth the short hair, she's startd to lose her touch, still a great vocalist though. Vangaurd was good, but it'd be nice if thy did some more stuff like judea. Saw the new pv preview a while ago, and dont remember it all too well, but i thnk sounded alot like one of their other songs, all i really remember is Miko, i think it was, gettn down on...ok actually i dont kno who tht was lol, but it was hot!
