The group's name is short for "Be the One All for One" and also refers to the member's blood types, 1 B Type (Baro) and 4 A Type.
B1A4 (Korean: 비원에이포) is a five member South Korean boy band founded by WM Entertainment in 2011. The band consists of Jinyoung (leader), Baro, Gongchan, Sandeul, and CNU (Shin Woo). They have gained much interest due to being first introduced in a webtoon and for their unique sound mixing pop with rock for their debut album. Their group name, B1A4, has been explained as being due to one member having B blood type, and the other four having A blood type. It also stands for "Be The One, All For One".

2011: Debut 'O.K.'
B1A4 debuted on April 21, 2011 with their debut track 'O.K' off of their album 'Let's Fly' and released a music video. They were first introduced to the world through the creative marketing of webtoons before their actual pictures were released.[1] Their debut album 'Let's Fly' includes a song written and composed by the leader Jinyoung.[3] As rookies, this garners much interest being that most debut albums contain little input from the members.

i love this group! 
i personally like them than some of the recent boy band groups! 
They are sweet, O.K. is really addictive and I love the "I love you u u u u" hand movement. Video is ok, has a few flaws though, I like to pay attention to details. Out of them, and two other rookie bands X-5 and Block B i prefer Block B.
I'm in love with this group! I confess I didn't like O.K. at first, but it's pretty catchy.
I love 'Only One' the most 
And they are all so cute! 
I don't know why but I love the O.K. song. It's usually not really my type of thing, the cute dongsaeng groups. But I think they got me at "you-u-u-u-u" lol I wish these boys the best!

they have a charm that all the new groups don't have
my favourites from their album are remember and only one. but now that they're promoting 못된 것만 배워서 i'm starting to like that one more too

NEWS: AKB48 Team B's Miyazaki Miho supports B1A4
B1A4 got an interest from Japanese girl group
Miyazaki Miho, the member of famous girl group in Japan called ‘AKB48 Team B’ updated her twitter on July 5th that “I recieved Korean group B1A4’s CD. Please check it out. It’s a song which can raise your power up” and uploaded the photo of B1A4’s CD.
It is well known that Miyazaki Miho has interest in Korea. She also gave B1A4’s CD to Japanese staff who came to Korea for an interview of B1A4 to get signs on it.
B1A4’s agency said “To get an interest from the best Japanese girl group it surprised and amused the members. They always feel thankful to international fans who’s interested in them and they’re trying their best to show their developed and grown up looks in the future.”
On the other hand, B1A4’s members Sandeul and Baro will be appearing on MBC ‘Quiz to Change the World’ that will air on July 9th at 11pm.

☆ IT B1A4 Album Introduction ☆
The attention grabbing next-generation super rookies in 2011, B1A4! Now, give them your attention! It is 'IT B1A4'. A unique group name formed from the 4 blood type A members and 1 blood type B member, B1A4!
Having debuted in April with 'OK' and 'Only Learnt The Bad Things' and capturing attention of both local and foreign fans, B1A4 has emerged to be the hottest rookies. With personalities and colors unique to themselves, B1A4 has returned with their second mini album [IT B1A4].
The title track of B1A4's second mini-album [IT B1A4] is 'Beautiful Target'. The other tracks are 'My Love', 'Chu Chu Chu', 'Wonderful Tonight' and 'Fooool'. Like with the first album, member Jinyoung has had his self-composed and written song included in the second album. Members CNU and BARO were involved in writing the title song, and also the rap-making for all the songs, allowing you to meet B1A4 on a different level as artistes. The title track's music video had the involvement of Korea's best director Joo Heesun, and depicts a humourous and sensational story. The members appear as various characters, and with the emergence of a surprise cameo, it is expected to bring yet another level of interest to fans.
