I have look through some of the artist profiles and found out that total amount of true fan does not match the number in their profile and celebrities section. Is there any fix for this?
It's not the NUMBER of fans, it's how many times the artist was fanned. It can be one person that fanned 100 times. And I think only first 7 (?) users, who fanned an artist more than others are shown, otherwise you would have to scroll down for a very long time for some popular artists.
"Like" on the other hand one can only press once, therefore it shows the exact amount of people that liked the artist.
On my profile it says fanned (40), but I've only fanned one person one time. I guess somewhat related, the total value of shares is 4x higher than what it really is. I figure you guys know about these things, but I couldn't find any topics that talked about it.
Mine "fanned" are off as well, I think it's the same for everyone. Going to report on it.
Looked at the "market value" again after buying another share. Looks like it just adds up the average market share for each share, and then multiplies by how many shares you own. So say, 237*2, 112, 100, 133 = 2910. It basically gives out a totally useless number. And a funny quirk of the system is that if you buy a share of an artist you already have a share for, it will add to the multiplier, but the actual share value really isn't being added (only the difference in the average).
i was just wondering if someone fans an artist 25th its considered as one true fan? right?
Artist's profile page shows how many times he has been fanned, not the amount of people who fanned him.
About "true fanned" on user's profile - we need to fix it, I am not quite sure myself.
Still not fixed huh? Well, if they ever get around to it, it'd be nice to see how much our lifetime total of jpops. I don't think that's available anywhere? I guess I'd like to see a quick sum of how much the shares have earned too! But, I really just want the weird math to go away! ^_^
