Video Of Hitomi Yoshizawa Slamming Into Bicyclist Surfaces Online

Shocking footage of Hitomi Yoshizawa's hit-and-run accident last week has surfaced online.

The video shows Yoshizawa's vehicle running a red light and slamming into a female bicyclist. The impact of the hit sent the woman flying into a man next to her.

Social media was abuzz as the video was shared widely. Netizens were quick to condemn the former idol, and pointed out that the incident could have easily turned deadly.

Yoshizawa has stated that she left the scene of the accident because there were too many cars around for her to safely stop. The video refutes that claim, as footage shows she was the only vehicle in the vicinity.

The talent returned to the scene 15 minutes after the hit-and-run occurred. A breathalyzer test measured a blood alcohol level of 0.58, nearly 4 times the legal limit of 0.15, according to the Tokyo Metropolitan Police Department.

On September 6, Yoshizawa was arrested on charges of drunk driving, negligent driving and a hit & run.

...Why does everyone just stare and walk away? Why not help those two! I'm disappointed

Her excuse about there being traffic is just an excuse. From the video, it seems that there was plenty of time for her to pull over and check on them.
