Cult, vocalist of Visual Kei band Tensai., gave an update on his parent's health situation after them being attacked in Hawaii.
Cult, his younger sister and his parents went to Hawaii in the end of last month but the vacation trip didn't take a good end. On May 28th, 2018 his parents were attacked in a public bath room of a park in Kaka’ako. His father suffered from cracked cheek bones, a cracked skull, deep cuts on his face, dislodged teeth and damaged gums and is deeply traumatized. When his wife wanted to help him she was choked until she passed out. Cult and his sister weren't around their parents at that time, so they didn't suffer from any injuries.
With help of a Japanese woman who is living in Kaka’ako and was visiting the park with her kids Cult's family was brought to the hospital. She also started a crowdfunding campaign to help the family pay the hospital bills. It gives more details on the day as well as a picture of Cult's father's injuries. You can find it here.
His father underwent surgery successfully on June 9th in Japan.
Cult retweeted the campaign and also tweeted that it seems like at least one of the four attackers could be captured - with the help of the same woman who started the crowdfunding campaign as well as other locals who were in the park.
We wish him and his family all the best and a quick recovery!
