Namie Amuro Announces New Song

Namie Amuro has announced that she will be providing the opening theme song to the anime series "One Piece".

The new song is titled "Hope". It will begin airing with the series starting in October. The song will be an upbeat rack about the bonds of friendship and their ability shine a light of hope to lead us into the future.

This will be the 3rd time Amuro has provided music for the "One Piece" series. In 2011, her song "Fight Together" was used as the series' opening theme song, while in 2015 her song "Black Make Up" as the ending theme song to the TV special "One Piece: Adventure of Nebulandia".

The announcement of "Hope" comes a week after Amuro revealed that she will be providing a new song titled "Showtime" as the theme song to the upcoming TBS drama "Kangoku no Ohimesama".

No official single announcement has been made for either of Amuro's new songs. Netizens have speculated that a double A-side single will be released next month, or the singer could be ready to release a new album.
