Gesu no Kiwami Otome & indigo la End Dropped By Label

Gesu no Kiwami Otome and indigo la End, the two bands fronted by controversial figure Enon Kawatani, have been dropped by their label Space Shower Records.

Two two bands' contract with the label expired on December 31, 2016. According to the official statement, it was a mutual decision not to renew the bands' contracts.

Although they are no longer signed to a label, both bands have stated that they will continue to make music.

The decision not to renew the bands' contracts comes after their leader Enon Kawatani has a year filled with controversy. The singer started 2016 with an affair with talento Becky, and later was found accompanying an underage woman at a bar who was illegally drinking.

Enon Kawatani is currently on indefinite hiatus. He is expected to make a comeback in the future.

I wish GnKO could just have Ikoka Hona (drummer) do the singing and "kick out" Enon. Then have him do the writing & composing under a stage name. Chan Mari is still in a good band (Crimson), but what should all Enon's the band members do now?

This is horrible news. I wasn't expecting them to be booted by their label. It isn't very surprising considering the controversy. I hope both groups can find a label or continue to create music in the future.
