Today Visual Kei band R-Shitei held its tour final at Makuhari Messe in Tokyo. A new single has been announced there.
Back in March R-Shitei released its single "hachijuuhachi kasho junrei" and went on a long tour afterwards, holding lives at 88 places. Even before the tour final took place the band already released another single, "forest", on August 3rd. Now, at the tour final in Tokyo, another one has been announced: "-SHAMBARA-" will drop in November but a release day hasn't been revealed yet. Of course we will keep you updated on track list and types!
A tour will follow this release: On December 20th and 21st R-Shitei will perform in Sapporo, on 27th in Nagoya, on 28th in Osaka and on 31st in Fukuoka, the hometown of the band where they will welcome the new year. The tour final will be a two-days-live held on January 4th and 5th at Zepp Tokyo.
But there there are more live performances you should keep an eye on: From October 24th to 26th R-Shitei will hold three live performances at Tokyo Kinema Club. The title of this three-days-live sounds alarming for fans: "Sayonara R-Shitei, kyonen 8sai" (さよならR指定 享年8歳) which means "Goodbye R-Shitei, age at death: 8". R-Shitei started its activity under this name about 8 years ago, in 2008, and many rumors are in circulation, from disbanding over major debut to simply saying goodbye to its 8-year-old self in order to welcome R-Shitei's 9-year-old self. Until now nobody can really say what this title means since more lives after those in October have already been announced as well as the release of "-SHAMBARA-" which makes a disbanding in October unlikely.
